Drawn for @mari-lair 's (I hope it's still okay to tag you in this, feel free to ignore me if you'd prefer) Undead Stargazer DTIYS. I did two for this one for fun. The first one is a direct redo in my style and the second focusing more on the 'not dead yet' prompt they provided because I love the imagery of someone literally dragging themself out of the ground after having been buried so I immediately thought of that and wanted to do it. Further context for this second piece is that I'm not super familiar with the AU in question (it's apparently now discontinued, a shame but I understand why, I already drew and painted these though, just finished before finding out about this update, so I'm posting them anyway) I just really like the way Siffrin's hair looks in it and wanted to draw and paint it. So I was just going for cool vibes and not anything like story related or anything. Also, the red books in the original artwork reminded me of the mannequins from the artwork background for Mili's Birthday Kid song on Youtube so that's the visual vibe I was going for with the way I did the background.
