The thing is though, this entire situation is a great example of my own beliefs on art. That anything can be taken and tuned into art, that what one person finds beautiful or provocative will be trashed by another person. The maker of this post would most likely hate me for this comment - the intent of their post was to show the absurdity of this notion. I imagine they’re laughing all the way to the bank, if the seller made the post themselves. But this, in itself, represents how anything can be perceived as a meaningful investment - even an attack on the “everything is art” mindset is, in itself art. The concept of art is limitless, and that makes me so happy.
