tumblr has been a really wild ride for me. i joined, terrified and confused, at the behest of a person i no longer speak with, though we were very close at the time. ive been through a lot of ups and downs and tumblr has been there with me through all of it, offering a level of comfort and solace when i didn’t have the energy to do anything more than scroll. i was always here for the memes and i was really happy with all the amazing content that i was able to find in the meantime.
ive learned a lot about the kind of person i want to be through tumblr, and more importantly the person i dont want to be. its been incredible, it really has, to be able to join tumblr back when david karp still owned it and to have the experience take me all the way to here.
ive been through fandoms on this site. ive been through hardships. ive been through some of the roughest spots in my life and ive survived them all, with this website as a constant companion. i guess as a whole, tumblr has been good to me and good for me, and im grateful for everything (and everyone) that i experienced through it.
