@talking-fox-actual, @yumekoba, @penis-king, and @social-distance-warrior are catfish accounts run by one man in San Diego, CA.
The short version: @yumekoba, @penis-king and @talking-fox-actual have the same IP address. They are the same person. Because Spirit#8422 on Discord, who ran the original Captain Planet blog, claimed to know her irl and is the only person in this circle verified to be a real human via voice chat, I believe he is responsible.
How I know this: I abused a web statistics tool called StatCounter (lol). I set up a fake WordPress blog and instead of setting up StatCounter for the entire blog, I set up totally different projects on two different pages of the blog. I labeled each project: one for yumekoba and one for talking-fox-actual. Whenever someone accessed one of these pages, I would be able to see their IP address. Because it’s an empty fake WordPress and no one knows it exists, I didn’t have to worry about other traffic getting in the way.
So, first, I sent the @yumekoba blog the link to the page containing the yumekoba project. I told her that it was a new blog I was setting up and asked for her feedback on this particular post.
About an hour after I sent the dm, the page I’d set up was hit and I captured her IP address:
Next, I went through the exact same process with Fox, except of course with her own assigned page/project.
Shortly after this, Fox’s page was hit as well - by the exact same IP address.
But Vicky, couldn’t it just be Yumekoba returning to the fake blog for no reason and accidentally stumbling across Fox’s page? No. Do you see where it says “no referring link” under the IP address? That means this visitor didn’t get to that page from a Google search, another part of the WordPress, or anywhere else. They copied the link straight from Tumblr DMs and put it into their browser. The visit on Yumekoba’s page was from someone with access to Yumekoba’s DMs. The visit on Fox’s page was from someone with access to Fox’s DMs.
But Vicky, couldn’t it be a VPN?
No. I checked. A tool like this can tell the difference based on which ports are open:
Why would someone even do this? This is what I have been wondering for a few months now, and I’m still not sure. But I think I have a really good idea of how Fox would answer this question, at this point. Here is part of a post she made when asked for her opinion on terrorism / accelerationism in March 2019:
When I first began telling people that I thought Racist Tumblr’s favorite uranium mine heiress probably wasn’t a real person, I got two very different responses. People who had actually had a relationship with Fox on basically any level agreed with me (not always to the same extent) and were willing to trade notes. By “notes”, I mean the absolute insanity that are the claims Fox makes about her life in private conversation. Here is a sample of one such conversation:
Now, when I told people about my suspicions who had no relationship to her at all other than distant fan/orbiter? They were appalled and enraged with me. Literally.
Tumblr wignats are desperate to believe that this whole cast of cool, sexy, action drama esque characters who share their beliefs are out there in the real world being epic based chads and converting others to the cause with sheer character. They desperately do not want to believe that their mentally ill internet friends are all there is to their “movement.” They want uranium mine heiresses who drive fast cars and have sex with real people, not wimpy depressed men and deranged sexphobic women.
So….. what, this was all for fascist optics? That’s what you think?
No. I don’t think that at all, actually.
You mentioned Fox’s brother, @social-distance-warrior, in the title. What makes you think he is a catfish account?
Well, his sister is fictional, and therefore he is fictional as well. Genetics. You know.
Who is Spirit / Captain Planet?
In 2019, there was a joke blog called captain-planet-official which posted ecofascist ideas in-character as Captain Planet. After a couple months, the blog was deleted by staff, and the man behind it decided to join a Discord server I was in as himself. The name he went by on Discord was Spirit. He joined almost every vc and I talked to him often. Like Fox, he was prone to telling very unbelievable stories. For example, he would talk about his work as a pest control consultant. But he often joined vc while working, and his work seemed to consist exclusively of driving around at odd hours and occasionally stopping to have a conversation we couldn’t hear very well. I never knew what that could possibly be, but it wasn’t what I had imagined pest control consulting to be like. Then, months later, one of my friends started doing DoorDash and would call me during work. I figured out what Spirit’s work had sounded like.
He also claimed to be a married father of four. I don’t know many families of six who can live off DoorDash in California.
But most important to this post, Spirit knew Fox IRL. Not just Fox - he had dated her older sister. Spirit was the one who slipped it to everyone that Fox’s family was incredibly rich. Spirit made sure everyone knew Fox was a real person by assuring us that they had met irl.
I believe Spirit is the creator of the following blogs:
See those three that have been deactivated? So, I actually went to Fox directly and accused her of all this on June 3rd. Thirty minutes after I did that, she made her pinned post about taking a break. Apparently, her blog that she only posts on during the day is affecting her sleep somehow. A couple days later, violent-dharma and social-distance-warrior deactivated, and penis-king deactivated less than three hours ago.
I actually had another IP trap set up for penis-king but he never took it.
EDIT: He actually did and I didn’t notice. Title has been changed accordingly.
If anyone wants specific reasoning for why I believe certain accounts are Spirit’s homonculi that I didn’t explain in this post, feel free to contact me.
Thanks for reading. I’ve been keeping this to myself for months. This post is a huge relief.
