I watched the finale in 7 in the morning. I can’t explain the impact this has left me. I’ve been down all day and in the evening I broke down. My eyes hurt, it’s like grieving a memory, something or someone or a place you were in the past only the past existed inside a screen. Stranger things has taught me a lot about the importance and the love you feel along the way with your closest ones. I remember me watching back in 2019 when I had my first Netflix. I was like, “I need to watch stranger things” cause I have seen El in a YouTube video. From then, the story, everything became so important. I used to have dreams where I was with the core four, that’s how deep I was in. I had my room, my art journal filled with stranger things drawings etc etc. I was a general audience lmao then I changed my perspective in s2. Will and Mike!! Byler has been so much for me too. I used to stay all night up reading and watching theories, I still do. But, you know what, as much as I wished for byler to happen, in the end I wished for Eleven to have a happy ending. Her death was the most heartbreaking thing that has ever happened to this show. I don’t care if y’all say this season was bad, the finale wasn’t. It wasn’t, the ending scene where Mike just watched the kids play dnd it all just reminded me of the first episode of stranger things where they were playing. This is like a wound and for my sake I would love to believe Jane is out there somewhere living the life she deserves. Mike is still my favourite character, Will is happy, Lumax get their date. They grew up. I hate you duffers but I love you for giving us this show. Also Will doesn’t have a epilogue boyfriend Mike just thinks he doesn’t deserve Will that’s why he imagined megatron with Will🤫
