So… how do we feel

Okay, so I have this running theory that The Great Divide is about best friends that had sort of a flirtationship one summer, and through it, one of them figures out that they’re gay and the other one figures out that he’s maybe a little bisexual, but not enough for him to really pursue it. And while nothing bad came of it, it definitely created a rift that they hadn’t planned on and led to a lot of unspoken stuff that they still think about constantly and hasn’t really gotten resolved. I mean, really, how many of us as baby gays had a weird flirtationship with our best friend that got super complicated but ended up being a very canon event in the plot?
