Morbid Fascination

I fear yall may be overestimating how meaningful a term (which in this case, I would say is entirely a ‘muggle’ word… but maybe not? In any case) like grooming would mean to someone like Voldemort. If you sat him down and pointed out that all the things he had done constituted ‘grooming’ he would nod and say why yes and I worked very hard on all that. He would not give a single fuck if anyone tried to define his Bad Behavior with any sort of terminology. If anything, he’d probably say something about how really Dumbledore was the abusive manipulative mastermind, grooming a much younger, fragile Harry to worship Dumbledore himself and hate Voldemort—but wait! He already did that in the Subjective chapter.
