To understand everything, first you have to know what Bighit Entertainment is. Bighit Entertainment is one of the biggest entertainment agencies in South Korea right now. It’s current CEO is Bang Si Hyuk (who you all know as Bang PD).

Now, the talents under Bighit Entertainment are:

BTS

TXT

Lee Hyun

How do you know if a group is under Bighit Entertainment? Well, their music videos start with this:

(Dynamite MV B-Side Ver. - BTS)

Again, this can only be seen in BTS and TXT mvs. Lee Hyun, as far as I know, hasn’t released any official BH-Ent. MVs recently so this hasn’t applied to him yet.

Now, let’s move to BH Labels. The past few years, Bighit has been acquiring several entertainment companies (and their groups). This is the reason why you can see Gfriend, NUEST and SVT in Weverse. While their company is owned by Bighit, it doesn’t mean they are managed by Bighit. This only means that BH has very very big shares and stocks. Among all these companies, think of Bighit Entertainment as the mother group. The groups under these subsidiary are still managed by their old companies. Under Bighit Labels, you can find the following companies and groups among others:

Bighit Entertainment (BTS, TXT, Lee Hyun)

Pledis (SVT, NUEST)

Source Music (Gfriend)

BELIFT+ (Enhypen)

Going back to the MV intro thing, you can see that SVT and Gfriend MVs don’t have the Bighit intro logo like BTS and TXT do—because they aren’t under Bighit.

Now, BELIFT+. BELIFT+ is a new company formed as a collaboration between Bighit and CJ ent. What does this mean? This means BELIFT+ group management will be handled by CJ Ent. while their productions are handled by BigHit.

To sum that all up, Enhypen is a group debuting under BELIFT+, not Bighit Entertainment. It’s a whole different company—a subsidiary company under Bighit Labels.

How it works will be just all the companies working in one building, under one label not one agency. So, yes. Hueningkai is still the Bighit maknae, because Niki is the Belift+ maknae. Heeseung is the Belift+ hyung. While they’re all under one umbrella company—Bighit family is only TXT, BTS and Lee Hyun. Enhypen is the first and only group under Belift+ so far, and they’re different from Bighit Entertainment.

So, sad to say—no Enhypen in Bighit universe, no Enhypen in Bighit family shoots. They’re BELIFT+—not Bighit.

Wanna know the kicker here? There’s literally no difference to this. There’s just a division in work and the events they’ll participate in. I don’t know what’s the big problem in acknowledging this fact.

Also please check your information first! Some of them are wrong/inaccurate.

1. Not all i-land trainees were from bighit, there were only three if I remember correctly. As for the producers, they’re in the same label. Of course, they’ll share—especially Belift since the partnership with cjenm puts BH in charge of music.

2. Weverse is a platform not only for BH Labels now, they’re slowly opening it to more and more artists past BH Labels. Them co-existing on that platform doesn’t mean they’re in the same company.

3. The only confirmed connection is BTS and TXT, G-friend is only rumored to be connected and as far as I see from now Enhypen’s universe only just began and there’s barely anything to go off with so it’ll be a bit of a reach to claim that it’s connected unless there’s someone from BH that said it.

4. The new year’s concert is a label thing, not one company. This does not mean anything other than the fact that they are in the same label.

I gotta admit, I’m a bit frustrated at this topic by now because it never ends. I’m not promoting a different treatment here because at the end of the day they’re all just agencies and labels—but please stop grouping them together and insinuating the one company thing because that’s actually not correct.
