I’ll keep it brief here:

* they added a lot of scenes of Ilya and Shane interacting with their families which adds a lot of depth to their characters.

* some details are changed but overall it’s very faithful.

* a lot of the dialogue is verbatim or very similar to the book.

* Shane and Ilya are HYSTERICAL together. Oh my god. I was in stitches at their interactions. Jacob Tierney rly understands the comedy in their dynamic and he totally capitalizing it. The whole theatre was cracking tf up during their scenes.

* the intimate scenes are graphic. Lots of nudity. No full frontal but they don’t really leave anything up to the imagination.

* Shane is a neurotic loser and Hudson is absolutely perfect.

* Ilya is a loveable asshole and Connor is absolutely perfect.

* Some moments were so cute and wholesome I wanted to crawl out of my skin.

* Everyone involved in this show is an absolute sweetheart and clearly care so much about this production. They all stayed behind after the screening to take photos with fans and sign autographs, then Connor and Hudson went to rachel’s after party (I didn’t attend that)
