[Amara sniffs and looks up at Deah, her eyes teary. How was this the same girl she was ready to fight a few months ago? She was nice. And so pretty. Amara felt her bottom lip start to quiveras she thought about that and nodded, trying to hold back tears.] I am badass. [she chuckled, not really believing herself while she said it, but sitting up straighter - as though that would help]. Thank you. You- uh… you’re completely right. [she said quietly, wiping a tear from the corner of her eye and then glancing down at her sleeve, brows furrowed] And I’m sorry. I don’t- I’m never like this. Or… [she sighs] maybe I am. But, uh… yeah, just… thank you. You’re… very smart. 

[Deah almost rolls her eyes at her calling her smart but looks away still] Don’t apologize, it makes you look weak. Apologize when you have to [Deah has never learned that just yet herself but shh] but not for - not for your feelings. [takes a breath, cursing inner Ocean for making her say things like this and is just generally awkward with emotions and doesn’t know how to handle them very well] Do you drink? Let’s go fucking drink.

[collects his jacket once they’re both stood, shaking his head a little at Deah before offering his arm to Ocean] I know that it may not seem so right now but having you there will be doing wonders to reassure her that she will find her way back once she has finished travelling her destructive one. It does help, having at least one person stay, I promise.

[unsure of what to do Grace takes a large step back, she stayed quiet and as far from the action as possible while the fighting took place] 

[two boys end up fighting because of a girl out of nowhere after watching that and a girl goes after Deah whose boyfriend she had just thrown a drink in the face by slapping her and calling her a bitch and Deah retaliates by punching her before stepping back and watching her bleed from the nose. Everyone either is wanting in on the action or are standing by and taking videos and soon enough Deah just watches the chaos consume the room before stepping away] Well, that was fun. 

Yeah– the lot of us are. Mines in a trust till I graduate college but my Uncle pretty much indulgences me if I need cash. Same with his kids. One of which is who gave me the jeep when he got a more practical family one. [He situated Deah better so she would be knocked around. Finding a bag for her to throw up in if she needed too and grabbing his bag to rest under her head.] It’s fine– life happens right? [he muttered as he looked back to Ocean.] Yeah, I’m doing my best– it’s been sort of rough.

Good that he indulges you. It’s nice to have family support, some people don’t have that at all. [She smiles softly albeit sadly] Yeah... life kicks even the best of us around. But you can’t let it get you down for good. Always best to look on the brighter side of things. [she nods] Just cherish your memories and just know all the good that they gave you and soon enough someone else will come along. They always do, you know? If you’re lucky.
