So, I’m a terrible person. I haven’t been here in forever. For that, I apologize.

I’m moving Clint over to my multimuse blog, so that I can play him more often.

Apparently having more than one blog is really freaking hard for me.

So, I got let go from my job last week.

I think I have another job already.

After he’d sent the message, he was panicked. Yes, he’d meant it, but he wan’t sure if it was the right time. He was scared that he messed up, but… he didn’t regret it.

And then she texted back, and it was a weight off his shoulders. He was allowed to be happy again. So was she.

She swallowed hard, putting her phone away in her pocket. “Vamonos, Saphira.” The bully immediately began jumping about, darting to where her leash was kept and dragging it over to Nilza, tail wagging furiously.

It was a longer walk, Nilza using the time to sort her thoughts. The walk remained uneventful, and she returned to the apartment with the dog. Maybe Clint was already home, depending on on how long the wait for the food was. “Okay,” she told the dog, releasing her after having unclipped the leash, to which she immediately bounded off.

Clint finished up his paperwork (he hated it), and then sent in an order to their favourite Chinese place (thank fuck for online ordering). It took him closer to 45 minutes to get to the Chinese place, and closer to an hour to get home.

She didn’t know how to respond to the admission. It felt right, but it also felt like she shouldn’t be okay moving on. But was it really wrong to be happy with Clint? It’s not like she didn’t still miss Soren horribly, but she also figured he would want her to be happy. It took her a good minute before she could bring herself to hit send.

‘Savannah. I’ve told you four times already. You can’t leave the kitchen a mess. I don’t care if you use it, but we need to keep things clean. Otherwise we get ants.’

Savannah’s features fell glancing toward the kitchen she’d honestly tried her best to get cleaned up, but apparently she hadn’t done very well. ‘I’m sorry’ she signed a frown etched across her features. ‘Vampires don’t have kitchens….im not very good at this’ she added although she was sure her signing was a jumbled mess. She was still learning after all.

‘Don’t be an idiot, Natasha,’ Clint signed, his eyes focused more on the obstacle course in front of him. ‘This is easy for us. Easier than Budapest.’

To be fair, everything would be easier than Budapest, but he liked to keep the joke going. Especially because all the baby agents kept trying to figure out what the hell had happened. It was turning into a SHIELD legend. But no one knew the real story.

‘Easy for you, maybe.’ Natasha hadn’t been herself lately. She didn’t know why or how to make it stop but she’d been off. ‘Do we have to do this right now, Clint? Last thing I need is to embarrass myself.’ Maybe it was that she’d seemingly died and come back but, everyone knew she was off and all eyes were on her now.

Clint was still at the top of his game, if not better, which was even more infuriating to her, she liked being better than him at some things at least. ‘I’ll just watch, okay?’

He took a deep breath, realizing that his previous tactics of teasing weren’t going to work. At least, not for this. ‘We can wait,’ he signed, ‘we can wait as long as you want.’
