personally, the only superhero show I feel is worthy of any oscar or emmy buzz is doom patrol and into the spider-verse. im so sorry. i know people are willing to fight their mom for the mcu, but mcu films really don’t have the range to be nominated for any awards others than costume design or visual effects because there’s more heart put into that than their own characters or story. maybe if the mcu didn’t have the budget to make their films as distracting as ever, people would actually realize how horrible their films are. like, what allegories do they even have? what issues do they deal with that everyday people can relate to? not saying this to be mean or anything but there are literally so many other movies that feature heroes/super powers that are far more inspiring and motivational than anything the mcu can produce.
