Gods Tumblr is so fucking White and Racist towards Black People omfg it's infuriating

Like hey you know that your disabilities and sexuality and gender and nationality and your own experiences with racism towards your ethnicity does not negate the fact that you can still be racist and express anti-black sentiments.

It seems like every time without fail that a Black Person points out an example of anti-black racism, everyone else gets up in arms and clutches their pearls about it because the accusation is treated as worse than the racist actions, and those people then find any excuse to attack that Black person and distance themselves from that Black person as if the act of pointing out anti-black racism is a social taboo warranting making Black people villainous pariahs for not bowing their heads and swallowing down their discomfort about the constant bigotry lobbed at them.

White trans people, queer white people, disabled white people, just White People, NEED to do better and unpack their internalized anti-black racist beliefs cuz jfc it's rancid

So many White People on here just completely unironically recreate that community scene of "I can excuse racism but I draw the line at animal cruelty!" "You can excuse racism?!"

Me being trans and neurodivergent doesn't negate my capacity to be racist and bigoted. My whiteness in fact ensures that I have been racist at some point in my life, through ignorance and ingrained bias. It's up to ME to do the work to unlearn that shit and not let White Fragility negatively affect the people I care about who are not white. It's on me to do better. Come on white people you can do better than that, you can stand to Not Be Racist against a Black Person for pointing out Racism. Jfc.

Hello, tumblr! I saw something on here the other day that worried me, so I decided to Do Science about it. But I can't do it alone: I need your help to build the dataset!

Here's what I need you to do:

If you see a post with a "mature content" label, and it's 2026, DM me a link to the post.

Yes, that's really it.

I am hoping to collect several thousand such posts, so that I have a decent sized dataset. I do not care what the post is about; if it's labeled as "mature content", I want to add it to my dataset.

If I get 10,000 posts in my dataset before August 31st 2026, I will post my preliminary findings then. I won't feel comfortable calling my findings "settled" before 2027, unless I get over 50,000 posts.

The funniest thing about Adric only having three outfits is that I have to play a fun little game when I see pictures of him to work out which episode the pictures are from.

Obviously, if he's wearing the like red/burgundy velvety outfit, then it's State of Decay and if it's the pirate outfit it's Black Orchid. From there, I go to:

Is he wearing his badge? If not, it's the latter part of Earthshock.

Is his belt blue? If so, it's Full Circle.

After that I stare desperately at the background to try and work out which Generic Spaceship Interior he's in this time. With enough time and force of will, I will one day be able to use his haircut as a key deciding factor for especially tough cases because I swear it changes every other serial. Either that or I'll just have every frame that he's in memorised.

It will happen. I will make it so.
