For the longest time Link had a Scottish accent in my head. It's funny now with all of the Link fanart making him a dainty twink cause the combo of the scottish attitude + lingo, and him being an elf twink is so contrasting to Zelda who is very demure.

If Sukuna could drive, god forbid, I think he would be road rager king of cursing people out of a shitbox car on the highway. I don't think he would drive very well either, a blinker is a warning, and Sukuna doesn't give warnings. I need the emperor to hit it with a deaf baddie so Maomao can learn sign language. My proposal: It would be useful in learning and sharing info somewhat secretively with specific people. Secondly, it would be really funny to piss off jinshi.
Consort check in? Needs maomao or else miss consort can't (won't) talk to him. Gyoukyo tea time? 'needs' Maomao for translation purposes. And who are the consorts if not educated women? You cant tell me Gyoukyo wouldn't be hella interested in gossiping in sign with the other consorts. BUT someone would need to teach the consorts sign and who fits the bill of insightful educator who now knows sign? The Apothecary. Maomao gets to have time with the consorts sharing the spicy hot details of 'womanly topics'. Sure Jinshi can supervise, but what is being said? He isn't able to stick his nose into the gossip. He'd have to learn sign just so his nosy ass can be even more nosy which would bode for more Jinshi/Maomao screen time.
