So after today, after three months of being off of it, I will now be back on Vyvanse at a higher dose. I was on 40 but now it will be 50mg.

I will also be on aripiprazole, and oxcarbazepine to treat my bipolar disorder, and anxiety. I used to be on Prozac and Wellbutrin. But neither of those ever helped me. She told me that was because it doesn’t actually treat bipolar disorder, it just shuts down certain parts of your brain but you still have mood swings. So we will see how this new medicine helps me.

I’m not going to lie, being off of vyvanse has really shined a light on how bad my binge eating is. I gained 10 pounds in 3 months. I will work hard at getting under 250 again. But man, the impulses to eat and eat and eat are so hard to control while not on vyvanse. I was really scared that I wasn’t going to be able to get back on it again. Because I knew I would just gain everything I had lost.
