  You might think you can just breeze through life with your James Dean good looks and icy punk-rock stare, but one day man… One Day… BAM! Your convertible has flipped that guard rail and you’re going down. That’s the moment Washington, that right there is the moment. Your head an inch from impact, engine revving out of control, the last seconds of your hipster life. That’s the moment when you think about your friends and family, your dog, those summer nights by the harbor, drinking 40s on the beach front; You think of all those things in that last moment. Just before your head gets smeared in the dirt; And finally you get. You finally have that moment. I wish I’d just ignored all the bullsh!t, all the posing, all the morons and just gave a damn. That’s what you’re thinking. I wish I’d actually cared. Did something that meant something.

  But it’s too f@cking late now. Your about to be another cool dead guy. You’re going to be remembered as that nonchalant son-of-a-bitch from that bad arsed blues band. That guy who leaned on the wall backstage, gave a nod every once in a while in between pentatonic boxes and empty whisky glasses. Played a few shows, got a few laughs. I mean sure, that band was really really bad arsed, but what was it all for? Hey Washington, what was it all for? So some rookie paramedic could scrape your brains out of the Californian dust bowl between fits of vomiting? So your well dressed band mates could stand somberly in the rain while they lower what’s left of you into the ground. This isn’t the f@cking November Rain film-clip Washington! This is the real thing @rsehole! You don’t bounce when you hit the pavement here son.

  You need to drag yourself out of this miasma of cool you find yourself in, strap on that god damn American Made Fender Stratocaster, and kill this nonchalant trip before it kills you.
