And like don't get me wrong I think if I gave it more of a watch I'd be able to see that the anime has themes of finding joy in the nature of your hobbies buuuut from the first episode I could get a good idea of what I was in for and honestly if you have to sexualize women to make people interested in your product then you're not really that much better than American companies that uses the oversexualization of women to do the exact same thingggg and it doesn't help that in the case of Ruri Rocks, while Ruri isn't explicitly sexualized like Nagi, the way Ruri herself is so infantalized from the get go is incredibly strange at best and misogynistic at worst. Can we raise our standards
