WASHINGTON — A massive political war chest is becoming one of the biggest questions surrounding the 2026 U.S. midterm elections.

Trump-aligned super PAC MAGA Inc. has accumulated more than $400 million, giving President Donald Trump and his Republican allies a potentially powerful financial tool heading into a critical election year.

The money could be used to support Republican candidates in some of the country's most competitive races, particularly as the GOP works to defend its congressional majorities.

The size of the fund has attracted growing attention because Trump's name will not appear on the ballot in the midterms. That makes campaign spending, advertising and voter turnout efforts especially important for Republicans seeking to maintain control of Congress.

Trump has highlighted the size of his political operation's financial reserves, while questions remain over exactly how aggressively the money will be deployed and which races will receive the biggest investments.

For Democrats, the Republican war chest represents a major challenge. For Republicans, it could provide the financial firepower needed to defend vulnerable seats and compete in closely contested races.

As Election Day approaches, one question is becoming increasingly important:

A recent video from Trump administration official Kelly Loeffler has drawn attention online after an office tour appeared to show numerous framed photographs of Loeffler decorating the walls of her workplace.

Loeffler, who leads the U.S. Small Business Administration, shared a short video in which she walked through a hallway while answering a series of quick questions. As she moved through the building, viewers noticed several large, gold-framed photographs featuring Loeffler herself.

Among the images visible in the video was a photograph of Loeffler with National Guard troops in California. Another showed her alongside President Donald Trump during an event connected to Trump being named Time magazine’s 2024 Person of the Year.

Additional photographs appeared to feature Loeffler with Republican lawmakers, including Sen. Joni Ernst, Rep. Roger Williams, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer and Speaker Mike Johnson.

The unusual office décor quickly became the focus of online discussion. Rather than concentrating on the questions Loeffler was answering, viewers paid attention to the number of personal photographs visible throughout the hallway.

The video was apparently intended as a casual, behind-the-scenes look at Loeffler and her role in the Trump administration. During the clip, she also discussed her position as SBA administrator and described being told by Trump that the position would be part of his Cabinet.

Loeffler has been serving as administrator of the Small Business Administration since February 2025. She previously represented Georgia in the U.S. Senate after being appointed to the seat in 2020.

The office tour comes as the Trump administration has increasingly embraced social-media-style videos designed to give audiences a behind-the-scenes look at government officials and federal workplaces. The White House and other agencies have also drawn attention for extensive decorative changes, including the prominent use of gold-colored décor.

For Loeffler, however, the unexpected star of the video may have been the walls themselves. The collection of photographs quickly became the most talked-about part of the brief office tour, giving social media users plenty to comment on.

Whether the photographs were intended simply as professional mementos or as a way of highlighting Loeffler’s work and political connections, the video has put an unusual spotlight on the décor inside a federal government office.
