                       A  MUTED  SCOFF  ESCAPES  HIM  as  cold  blue  eyes  narrow  into  icy  chips.  He  was  never  a  fan  of  being  told  what  to  do.  No  king  did,  after  all.  His  voice  was  low,  little  more  than  a  lazy  drawl,  ❝  Is  that  so?  ❞  The  almost-annoyed  expression  resting  upon  angular  features  shifted  ever  so  slightly  as  lips  curled  into  an  almost  CRUEL  smirk.  His  expression  lacked  any  true  MIRTH.  It  was  instead  cold,  hollow.  WHOLLY  UNIMPRESSED.  ❝  I’ll  be  sure  to  keep  that  in  mind,  though  –  I  don’t  ever  recall  ASKING  for  your  thoughts.  To  what  do  I  owe  the  DISPLEASURE  of  your  opinion  on  whether  I  have  a  brain  or  not?  ❞
