I was a young mom. When people would ask what I do, I would say, "I'm just a mom."

What I didnt realize then was just how loaded the word "MOM" is and how SPECIAL our

"18 summers" are that we have with our kids.

Each one of my kids has educated me in such beautiful ways. Each one of them showed me how beautiful the world is through their eyes.

As their mother, I was their "teacher" But I was also their "student". Learnig them, learning myself, my limits. All with the LOVE we have for each other, to help each other grow, feel safe, and feel unconditionally loved.

I was 37 years old when I was diagnosed with ADHD.

The things I've learnt this past year on MY adhd journey are all things I wish I knew when I was younger. ( instant relief. Knowledge is power. )

When you are called "high functioning" you slip through the cracks.

They are keepers if they say "we'll figure it out together" 💛
