Who's your favorite photographer ?

Being alone in body and spirit begets more loneliness, and loneliness begets more loneliness.

On Friday night I saw a quote that I really disagreed with; "Artists have more fun". No they don't. Artists are melancholic, they suffer from psychiatric problems, addictions and end their lives in suicide. They see the world for it really is, and they hate it. Hate themselves a little bit too. No matter what they do, and no matter how much they try their creations don't sway the world as much as it's needed. The release, escapism they offer is only temporal but at least it's there. Occasionally making it easier to breath. They suffer, and when the suffering gets too much they try to block it out with whatever means one can find fitting. This might be seen as "fun", but it's only a struggle.
