     there was no one that really UNDERSTOOD better than him .       after all, they did get into this mess because of each other, didn’t they ? 

     it was a relief to know that despite everything it was still the two of them . through all their bickering, rivalry &&. competition —- there were times it was hard to tell if drifting apart would draw them back in . sora always followed after him, where ever he went ; he was riku’s SHADOW, watching him with unbridled awe &&. knowing that nothing would stop his immense pride in his friend . 

    they had seen the end of the worlds together . fought monsters &&. villains, traded blows &&. escaped nightmares . their friendship endured tightropes of fear and expectation … even after all the things they might’ve kept from one another —- things that one knew, &&. the other didn’t . they both had CHANGED .

   one more than the other .    but it didn’t change the way they walked side by side at the end of the road, &&. came back to the other side . it didn’t change sora’s pride &&. motivation to be just like his best friend .
