رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khairin faqir

‘My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.’ (Surah Al-Qasas, 24)

The Dua of Yunus (AS):

لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِين

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin

‘There is no god worthy of worship except You. Glory be to You! I have certainly done wrong.’ (Surah Al-Anbiya, 87)

The Dua of Nuh (AS):

رَبِّ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ

Rabbi inni maghlubun fan-tass-ssir

‘I am helpless, so help me!’ (Surah Al-Qamar, 10)

The Dua of Ayub (AS):

أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Innee massaniyad durru wa Anta arhamur raahimeen

‘Indeed, I have been touched with adversity, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.’ (Surah Al-Anbiya, 83)

The Dua of Muhammad (SAW):

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْهَمِّ والْحُـزْنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ

Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu bika minal-hammi walhazani, wal’ajzi walkasali, walbukhli waljubni, wa dhala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijaal.

عن أنس رضي الله عنه، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان إذا أوى فراشه قال‏:‏ ‏ “‏الحمد لله الذي أطعمنا وسقانا، وكفانا وآوانا، فكم ممن لا كافي له ولا مئوي‏"‏

No worries, it’s one of my favorite quotes:

“Know that a man floating on a piece of wood in the sea is not in more need of God and His kindness than a person in his home, sitting between his family and property. When this meaning becomes ingrained in your heart, then rely on God like a drowning man who knows not any other means to salvation but God.”

Do you ever feel like you'll get criticized when you do something?

Do you feel as though the world is against you all the time?

Laughing at you, shouting at you.

Saying words that burn your chest.

They don't seem to see the pain beneath your smiles.

The anger, the rage you feel inside.

Do you ever feel like you want to leave this world?

Free from all this criticisms, anger, fear and thoughts.

Having to think about what's next in your life when you dont have your life sorted out.

To be free from questions............

Anger destroys a lot of things but the victim is to be blamed right?

Sometimes this anger doesn't build up in a day.

They are built from past experiences, hate, insults, criticisms, broken hearts.

Pushing loved ones, friends and people that matter away.

Do you feel as though you aren't loved?

Not being understood by so many.

Feeling rejected by the world.

They never understand until they can see beyond your flesh and blood.

Often times Parents like to compare their children. My mum will say that my sister is her bestfriend. Is that supposed to make me change at that time or make me worse? Parents could do much better by supporting each kid in relation to their uniqueness as opposed to faults. It goes a long way if a child knows that he has the backing of his/her parents.
