Reading the new interview for SC makes me curious in how much SC is a soft reboot or if it really will be canon in the OG/NB/IDO timeline, especially with the remarks of how tonally different it's with other OBM media
Also confirmation again that the Magistrate is a totally different character from MC. Personally, I think it's best if SC!MC and OG!MC aren't related in any way. I still want a critter to represent them lol

When I saw that line in the interview about how they're checking for any inconsistencies, I thought to myself, "oh boy, the people are going to have a field day with this one". Partly because of how we're going to get a lot of "how canon is this" debates, and partly because a lot of the fandom is absolutely convinced that the writers don't read their own lore. We'll have to see if that comment screws them over in the actual release.
The angels and Solobro could definitely fit in that setting too depending on how much lore we want regarding the Celestial Realm and the Demon King revolt eons ago. But I don't know if we'll ever get that content since they seem to prefer treading familiar grounds first...
