Today I had to install (shit) art in a venture capital firm in midtown and I overheard some finance bros talking about the hotdog eating contest at Coney island, in between juggling millions in daytrading share buys. "He ate 72 hotdogs!" "wow that's amazing!" In that moment all of physical reality condensed into a single point and everything I ever felt about this world was validated. Then time started back up again - in the form of a ringing in my ear.
