Hey! So I’ve chosen to do philosophy at degree level and saw on one of your posts you’re at Leeds? Leeds is one of my top choices and I was wondering if you could tell me if it lives up to it’s expectations (obviously you don’t have too, feel free to ignore me) also your ontological memes are the only things getting me through this module , his argument is bullshit
Nice one!
I really like Leeds as a uni and a city generally, so couldn’t recommend that enough.
For the course, you have quite a varied module, with more coursework (essays) than exams. I like the way it’s set up, as from second year onwards you have a large degree of flexibility.
You can also do 20 credits a year of non philosophy modules, which is pretty decent. I did German first year, Sports analytics and Economic geography second year.
A few bad lecturers here and there but I guess every university has that.
