Davi stared at the large crystal in awe. He had never seen one so big before. "Not at all. This is the biggest crystal I've ever seen." Davi still couldn't get over the size of it. "It does," Davi agreed. "They cleanse and heal. I know they need to charge in the sunlight or moonlight?" The words came out of his mouth more like a question, even though he knew that as a fact.

Eyes go wide almost immediately at the question, Zoe beaming both triumphantly and in embarrassment at the same time. "Over a year," she blurts, that grin staying. "That's kind of ridiculous, isn't it? I do the same thing with that stupid Wordle game. Like... They're quick-ish, so they're easy to put the time into and I can go on with my day." She laughs at the compliment, shaking her head. "After literally a year I should know a lot more French than that, but I can probably say the most basic phrases. I don't know if I'm ready for a trip to Paris just yet. Maybe Quebec, though. And, like, only if I visit the English-speaking shops." A playful smirk. "And my Spanish is pretty fluent. You would think they're similar enough, but man those differences..." Zoe takes a quick drink from her glass, then motions toward the TV where they're likely showing sports highlights at this point. "So is that one of your teams?" She's immediately much more thoughtful looking as she considers. "Who do people even follow down here? I'm gonna have to learn the favorites..." @dav-ramos

His mouth hung open, Davi was rather impressed to hear a streak going that long. "No, not at all." He replied, thinking it was really cool. "How are you at wordle?" He wondered, tilting his head to the side.. Back when everyone was playing Davi checked the game out. He wasn't very good, and always found a way to cheat in order to get the word. "No I get it, it's a nice quick little break."

Davi nodded, "There was a game on TV." As soon as the game ended, someone must have asked for something else to be turned on. Davi couldn't tell what station was on, as a commercial was on."It was a hockey game." The words leaving his mouth made him miss playing the sport. He missed hearing the crowd cheer every time he scored a goal, or the the way the way the fans cursed him out from the stands. A soft sigh escaped his lips, snapping him back to reality. "The LA Kings won." He grinned, though he wasn't a big fan of them.

Thumbs tap silently at the phone screen, Zoe pausing here and there to take a quick sip from her drink. The concoction honestly looks way too bougie to be served at the Irish pub, but with a charming smile and a can-do spirit, it's easy to get even the most crotchety bartender to make a skinny margarita, light ice, extra salt. She glances and nods at the arrival of her neighbor, who is clearly as engrossed in the tail end of the game on the TV as she is in her phone screen. It's not til he asks the question that she stops, Zoe laughing immediately. "Ohhh my gosh I wasn't even paying attention! I was trying to get my stupid lesson done so I don't break my streak!" She holds up her phone, revealing a Duolingo screen, the owl clearly pleased by her completed lesson. "If it's any consolation, though, my French is getting très magnifique!" It is absolutely the most American-sounding pronunciation, though Zoe looks as happy about it as the owl on her phone screen.

Davi didn't know much about Duolingo app, because he'd never used it. What Davi did know about the app was the owl and had come across some memes on TikTok. "How long has your streak been going?" He asked, cocking his head to the side.

Valeria had just finished bussing one of her tables and leaned against the barstool for a second to check her phone before she heard the comment. Glancing over to the man beside her she snorted softly, shaking her head, "Sorry dude, I can't answer the first thing about...basketball?" She turned her head to look to the tv to see if that's what was even on. "Or sports in general. Never really been my thing." She told him honestly before nodding to him. "What I can help you with is if you need a drink or anything?"

March Madness went pretty hard within the Ramos' family. Unfortunately for Davi he was already out. He was just happy to sit back and watch the game with no stress. Davi chuckled softly, at Valeria's words. "That's okay," He responded, grin tugging at his lips. "You know, when your shift is over, maybe I can buy you a drink?"

Romina was seated at the bar while she waited for Santi to be done his shift, happily ready to stick around until the last person left and he closed up. "What game?" She asked and then peered towards the television which had been keeping people's attention. "I'm not really into those things." It was a lie but she was too preoccupied thinking about something at work. "Who won?" At least then she'd know if someone brought her up. "I guess it's been good since no one is fighting or getting rowdy." / @dav-ramos

Sports were Davi's whole life. Whenever there was a game on TV he'd watch it, or if he had a chance to attend in person, he'd be there without hesitation. It didn't come as a shock when other people didn't feel the same about it. "That's okay," Davi said, with a smile. "The Dodgers." Even though Davi wasn't a Dodgers fan, he was happy to see them win. "Yeah, it's the start of the season so these games don't matter much."

Davi's face flushed red, "Yeah, it was pretty awful." The memory of the events were super painful for him. "I hope that didn't just happen to you."

Having a career that required so much travel Davi, didn't own many clothes. Fashion was just never his thing. Now that he wouldn't be living out of a suitcase he thought it was the perfect time to build up his wardrobe. Davi was going through the racks of clothes in the Hidden Gem, a few items were slung over his arm, while he continued to shop. His attention turned to the person standing next to him, "I can check," Davi's gaze dropping to the floor, checking for a price tag.
