Unnamed Alien AU in which i randomly came up with yesterday
Initial idea is that: what if Sonic was actually an alien? Not in a movie sonic way, in a โdoesnt belong to canon Sonics version of Earthโ way
As in, mobians and humans habitate Earth as usual, but Sonic himself isnt from Earth! I havent given a name to his alien species tbh I just call him an alien and thats it
(Super) Sonic is really big! Despite that, Knuckles manages to punch the emeralds out of him, which catches him by surprise lol bro thought he was invincible (TITLECARD)
Then I added Shadow whos also an alien, but unlike Sonic hes a Black Arms. His stinger has paralysing venom, its not enough to kill, but will keep you immovable for a while.
Then I added Silver who isโฆ some eldritch horror planet eater from outerspace. Wowie! Hes massive, like I put Earth beside him for comparision lol
Even in his mobian disguise, Silver doesnt have a face, so instead he uses a sort of mask/display to cover up the black hole he has for a face lol
Yknow me, I have the humour of a 5th grader, so I had to draw Sonic making fun of him by drawing a pp on his display xD
Some biologyโฆ this applies to Sonic only regarding the trio, hes the only โparasiteโ between them, as in he starts of as a โcoreโ, eats decaying matter and absorbs DNA to form a body of his own. If he doesnt get a body asap his core dies basically lol he was built to mimic what he eats and survive that way (Yes, thats Shadows hand ripping out Sonicโs core. Dont worry though! They will be fine! โฆright?)
I've noticed Sonic's "core" looks like a Black Arms so have two ideas I thought of
Idea 1: Sonic is a species that mimics the Black Arms in a form of defensive mimicry (animals that do defensive mimicry aren't 100% perfect match of the original)
Idea 2: Sonic's species is an offshoot of the Black Arms that evolved to coexist with life (Shadow may or may not be extremely jealous)

Personal headcanon of mine is younger ghosts naturally listen to older ghosts in the way a child listens to a parent until the younger is a century old, Frostbite uses this fact to force Danny on bedrest when he's injured

In this world everyone has animal characteristics[ears, tails, wings, ect]. Mammals are the most common, then avians/bats, reptiles/amphibians, sea creatures, and then lastly insects which are the most rare. What characteristics a person gets isn't linked to lineage, someone born between a bear and a dog can end up a stingray, none of its really understood.
Now, onto the part you actually care about.
Due to how rough Gotham is, most people with prey characteristics tend to leave as quickly as possible, so seeing a bunny rabbit in Gotham is strange, and thats why Danny stood out so much.
Huge, long black ears, and a tiny whisp of a black tail with white underfluff, and tiny claws on his hands. Sure, he was tall and lengthy which was a little strange for a rabbit, but he was a rabbit all the same.
Because Danny's a rabbit, nobody expects him to last long, Gotham was bad enough for dogs and bears and wolves and such, it would hell for a little bunny.
And just like people expected, Danny got targeted a lot- except he didn't run away, or cower. Sure, he tried to avoid conflict, but when conflict came to him, he fought back. With precision, and viciousness nobody expected from a rabbit, Danny punched and swiped, his clawed hands a flurry of hits similar boxing, leaving Danny's would be attackers a bruised, scratched up, and bloody mess.
And after a few of these attacks, it clicks: Danny is not a rabbit, He is a hare.
Basically: Hare!Danny moved to Gotham because who knows why, gets mistaken as a bunny, and everyone thinks Danny is an easy target. Except that Danny is kewl and beats the crap out of whoever tries to start crap with him.
*Only Danny's characteristics were important, so I didn't think for anyone else so thats up to you(except please let Harley Quin be a hyena, it fits her so well!)
*Rather Danny's characteristics change between Human and Ghost is up to you
*Add anything else you want to this, I just liked this basic idea
Ghosts should be chimeras that contain three different animal types, the main animal is what they were in life, the second is from the same type of animal as the first, (basically if they were a bird in life the second would also be a bird/bat) and the third is random but can be the same as the first two
Basically the ghost has all traits of the first animal, 2 or 3 traits from the second and 1 sometimes 2 traits from the third
Danny Fenton: Hare, Fallow deer[antlers and hooves], and Dragonfly[wings]
Dani(Elli) Fenton: Bunny, Water deer[teeth, and hooves] and Common green lacewing[wings]
Dan(Dante) Fenton: Vampire ground finch, Moose[antlers and hooves], and Bombardier beetle[acid]
Jazz Fenton: Red fox

Tucker Foley: Scarab

Danny was already with the many Blob Ghosts working for him (think of them as Minions of Despicable Me).
This new place is a super funny vacation place! He should think ghostwriter about it.
True, his eyes were hurt by the portal, but that would be gone in a few years. But who cares about it? With just his genius and no powers as a human, he can show he is a genius!
That was how Danny, without knowing it, became a wonderful child who was just having chaotic fun in the new world. It's like a game for him; it's not like he would have problems.
Batman has the Joker.
Superman has Lex Luthor.
Wonder Woman has the cheetah.
But Green Arrow!
Green Arrow has a child scientist! with a tragic childhood who does musicals to explain his evil plans.
Just for the poor comedy and Oliver trying to hide it from the other heroes out of embarrassment.
Of being defeated by a child and not being able to capture him.

Danny looked at Oliver Queen without his green Arrow mask. "An ordinary civilian with a goat?"
Oliver saw as he put on his hood.
Danny:"An ordinary civilian dressed up as a Green Arrow?"
Oliver puts on the mask.
Danny: "Ah! Green ARROW! "
Green Arrow gave a tired sigh.
Black Canary:" When we finally are able to capture him, The first thing we will do is send him to an ophthalmologist."
Danny:" Since you are here, I wil tell you about my trash-inator!"
Oliver:" So It creates trash."
Danny:" NO! Man, are you evil? It collects all the trash in the whole city and teleports it away."
Black Canary:" That is a pretty good indicator. You could do much goo..."
Danny:" Yes, then into the Bat Cave all the trash of the Star city will go. I was paid by Red Hood to do that."
Oliver:" NOO!!"

So because Oliver covered it up until now, Danny has now become a world-wide problem. Oliver really didn't want to say he lost a child or explain it.
Danny with his Shrink Ray:" Tonight we steal the Legion of Doom HQ/The Hall of Justice!"
All the Blob Ghost:" YAYY!"
And yes, Danny stole the Legion of Doom HQ/The Hall of Justice as both Heroes and Villian fought each other in a great battle.
That was the moment Oliver had to explain the problem that he had covered up.
Danny getting hit by his truth-inator and keeps calling Green Arrow Dad.
Or better yet-
Invasion happens and the JL learns around Little Mad Scientist because he curb stomps the bad guys while pouting at Green Arrow. Daaaad you were supposed to foil my evil scheme! (Dinah is laughing at him.)
Green Arrow:" I have Gray hair because of him, the last time i didn't stop him he made the whole city sing "Men in Thighs" While dressed up as me."
Irony was the whole city was just joining the boy, they were having fun.
Green Arrow to the JL:" He is my villain son, you all will accept it and not try to recruit him. All i have to do is capture him and then adopt him."
Till this day he never was able to defeat him, but he doesn't trust the rest of them.
While he is villain, he helped the city pretty good with his Inators, after they failed to do the mission.
Like Bread-Inator that he used to create the world biggest Bread to cover up the Ocean/Soup. (Danny the Ocean isn't a soup)
Well it has water, salt, meat and vegetable = Soup.

Green arrow, won't give up. You find yourself a son villain who the city loves more then you.
What Oliver is proud! He can take so many breaks thanks to thim and similiar.
Old crooks and criminals are used as bodyguards for the Inators so other cities don't steal them. And they get paid for it.
Aquaman might just steal and use that himself if he learns about it. He just needs a new set of clothes and a pair of Groucho Marx glasses to get Danny to go along with it. He gets his home clean, a bunch of free food, and to mess with Green Arrow? He sees no downsides to this.
Aquaman, being an adult, would be an absolute menace if he could get Danny to adjust the plan. Like probably knows that much bread in the ocean would cause problems itself and would need to be dealt with. He convinces Danny to create something that would use the bread. I'm thinking like creating bread monsters that are huge and annoying, but ultimately harmless. Maybe they break down into fish food after they are destroyed. "You like all the cool and pretty fish, don't you Danny? It would be really nice to let them eat bread with their soup."
Aquaman gets him to do this by saying it is to trick Green Arrow into thinking he is targeting bakeries or something while he uses Bread-Inator during the distraction. Does he feel bad about using the kid? Yes, but he knows he will escape and he made the kid promise to tell them what Arthur is doing if he is cornered.
Danny thinks this is fine since it lets him do TWO backstories in one Evil Plan! This all results in him revealing the full plan after some yakety sax on Aquaman's part with Atlanteans trying to stop or help him because of Orm. The plan? To use said bread to fight the sun because it gave him a sunburn or something equally ludicrous.
It could also just happen to be when that alien invasion happens and he instead uses it to fight them, exposing Oliver's embarrassing secret. I'm not sure where I was originally going with this, you have any ideas?
Oliver just looks at the villains and heroes who look at him. The most embarrassing secret of his life came out. While others had the joker, lex Luthor, ares, cheetah, Reverse flash, darkseid he had his tiny insane scientist.
"I don't want you to start. He is my headache villain."
What he at least doesn't kill people just wants to take over his city and rule it.
Danny:" You don't get my genius."
As Lex talked about his plans not working or art smart. How to defeat Superman
Lex:" You can't give Lois Lane flight! '
Danny:" If I give her that. He would have to spend more time trying to capture her then time to stop my plans. "
Lex:" Without powers she already does it but if she can fly it would be worse. "
That is just funny. He would probably make sure it is a difficult-to-master form of flight too where it is tied into her emotions or something.
Lois: *annoyed at the article she is typing up* AAAaaaaahhhhh! *Flies into ceiling*
Coworker: Somebody get the ladder and rope! Lane is on the ceiling again!
Villains throwing her out a window or like a baseball skyrocket since she just goes off in a random direction or straight up. Clark is positive he is getting grey hairs. On the upside, Danny made sure to include the ubiquitous durability anyone with powers has since he is not THAT kind of evil. Nothing extreme, but enough to keep most impacts down to just bruises.
Now the question is what he is going to do to the other heroes/villains and why? Lois was just because Luthor challenged him and he wanted to prove he was right.

Had this idea floating around in my head and I want to ask your opinion
What if the demons found Dante hiding in the closet, how do you think that would have affected Dante's personality or do you think he would be killed?
Oh, now this is a very interesting question. Dante being discovered that night could have certainly changed some stuff, and I've got a few ideas what those changes could be.
For one, I don't think Dante would have died. If he'd been discovered, he would have certainly been attacked like crazy and be brought close to death, but I imagine he would have also awakened to survive that.
This however on its own is already a big change, since one thing I do hold fast to is that the twins are quite different in certain characteristics, and these character traits are also what inform how they deal with things. It's one reason I find most swap scenarios unlikely, cause while quite similar, I can't imagine a one-on-one switch going anywhere close to what we have in canon now. The twins are just too different in the way they handle things for that to happen.
For example, Dante awakening so early would have probably not been a confirmation of power and control for him like for Vergil, but something way more chaotic and instinctual.
Vergil as a character in his groundworks is already someone who likes calm, control, discipline. We see hints of that already as a child, and I think those foundations were what made his awakening and killing of the demons threatening him the way we see it. Methodical, clean. Calm.
Dante however is the wild one, the one who feels way more openly, who acts in disregard of the rules set by others. Him triggering so young is in no way going to be half as neat and meticulous as Vergil's, cause that's just not who Dante is as a person. Even his awakening in dmc3 is more chaotic, more instinctual, than Vergil's was, and there's an age difference of 11 years!
So how is awakening so young going to affect him?
For one, he would probably hate it. Be scared of it, because he's just lost everything that ever was his, and now he's also losing himself! His trigger won't be a tool of control for him, but a monstrous transformation that makes him feel things, become more in-tune with stuff his mom always told him not to do. His mom is gone and now she's not there to enforce the rules, and he's slipping already! Can't do even that right.
...what an early start to self-hatred.
But then at the same time he might also lean on his trigger, on these wild instincts. Yes he's scared of them, but they did safe him. And like that he won't have to feel afraid or think too much about things. He'll just act in that state, and afterwards, that's when the fear and disgust really appears. But for those few moments he's in a way at peace.
Safe to say, all of this could culminate into something not pretty.
Though it depends most likely on if he manages to get a fake mom, to hide himself again like in canon, if he leans more into being fearful of this newly awakened part in himself or the other version. If he follows Canon tracks, he'll be more fearful, hateful of himself, cause losing control like that, being exactly like those things that attacked him and almost killed him, killed his mother, is the worst thing when hiding among breakable humans. What's if he becomes just like what made him an orphan?
On the flipside, if him being awakened makes him more trackable... That's the worst case scenario. Because here Dante will have to rely on his instincts more to stay alive, while constantly hunted, and I could see him losing himself partially in that demonic side of himself, in the rage and hate and need to rip all that threatens him apart. That need for dominance, for power earned through bood and pain.
Not a good development. It might lead him to some very dark head spaces, to a very brutal, bloodthirsty and vengeful version of himself. Parts of this he also has in his canon portrayal, but it's tempered and kept under control by his bleeding heart, his wish to do good. But a child him won't have the level of development, of control, to get him that far yet. Especially when he misses out on so much interaction with the people who shaped him in his younger years in dmc, since he's actively being hunted, and those are the ones who helped grow his sense of love and care.
To be honest, this version of Dante? Absolutely terrifying. Really the worst case scenario.
Moving on, these would be the two paths I could see if Dante got attacked and harmed, while Vergil was already gone.
Then there's of course the possibility of Vergil still being in the vicinity when this happens. That would be a more hopeful scenario.
The first possibility would be that Vergil was close enough to hear the commotion, and step in and save Dante before he has to awaken to survive. This would probably be my favorite version, cause I'm a sucker for big brother Vergil, and the power imbalance of Vergil awakened, while Dante isn't, would make for quite some interesting drama.
Vergil would be absolutely overprotective, while Dante would chafe under that protection and want to catch up with his big brother. Definitely some drama, but mostly nothing too big I think. They would I think manage to temper each other in such a way, that we get a happier possibility out of all of this.
The second version would be Vergil being too late and Dante awakening, so having his bloody rampage through his attackers, before realizing what had happened. It would be the same state for Dante as mentioned above, but now he's got Vergil who went through something similar, who would definitely try and temper Dante's reactions slightly, would maybe even promise to control Dante, should he ever go ballistic, to lean on. Though Vergil would also urge Dante to tap into that part of him. Again, I think the twins work best when they're together, to help balance the other out. This might actually be the happiest of versions, even with the additional trauma, since they're on even footing and can truly help each other in that way.
And the third version would be Dante awakening and managing to track Vergil down, since he'd already left but not gotten far. Similar to the one before, though with an unhealthy boost of abandonment issues, especially at the beginning. Maybe Dante would try to keep his awakening secret at the beginning, so as to not make Vergil think of him as a monster. Because if Vergil knew into what Dante could turn, he would surely abandon him again, right?
The final possibility would be a bit tricky with the timing, since it would see Dante awakening before Vergil, so probably being found immediately after Eva is killed, but still having enough time to kill the demons, catch himself, go outside and then save Vergil from his attackers. If Vergil was already under attack, I don't think he would get out of it without awakening (since the first stab alone was already through the heart), so we would have a similar situation to the one up above with both awakened, though Vergil would definitely be more open to rely on Dante, since he came in his time of need.
Vergil getting out unawakened would be the unlikeliest scenario, but it would definitely flip the script a bit. Dante would absolutely try so hard to lean on Vergil to not lose himself to this new side of himself, while also being afraid of hurting him, since he's more powerful, and Vergil would not like that and probably try to awaken himself somewhere soon in the process, cause he is not okay with being left behind metaphorically like that.
That could turn into such a mess honestly. Especially at the beginning.
Probably still happier than what canon gave us though.
So, all in all these are some very interesting scenarios to think about.
What I lastly want to note, is that the boys reuniting would be the best case, no matter how it goes. This is because Dante could inform Vergil that they should hide themselves, should change their names and everything, which would maybe give them some leeway and peace at the beginning to find their footing. Also, Dante could help keep Vergil from losing himself in his obsession for revenge, from his one track mind, making him keep more of a connection to humanity as a whole. While Vergil could give Dante the support and family and closeness he needs to not spiral fully, to not set himself apart from his own emotions and the world, and construct that smiling facade, through which rarely someone sees through.
So yeah, those would be my thoughts on all of this. Sorry it took so long for me to answer, life do be busy sometimes.
