Volt is the jealousest person ever. He is jelly as fuck.

Not about you, of course. He's fine if you romance the others.

but if someone even implies Eddie is attractive, or tries to get alone time with him, Volt is going to cause a power outage.

Volt is the only character with an official birthday (everyone else mostly celebrates the day they came to the house/were built), and he does abuse this privilege every year, without fail.

Good luck getting alone time with either of them.

They are literally two halves of the same whole. Not in the classic soulmate fashion, but Volt is literally parts of Eddie, and vice versa.

They are very weird about each other.

I know that's kind of a given, but they are very strange the deeper you go in on the relationship they have.

At first glance it seems like Eddie is a workaholic and Volt keeps him from overtaxing himself. Which is true.

But you go deeper in, and you realize that Volt burns out very quickly, and Eddie makes sure that Volt has plenty of time to rest, and recharge, before going back out.

Eddie is, surprisingly, the more responsible one.

Volt doesn't always think things though, so Eddie is there to hold him back.

Because I can't resist, here's some Lux is their Kid Stuff.

Volt was created to take care of Eddie, yes, but that extends to Eddie's kid, who Volt adores equally as much.

Lux used to take after Eddie, but when Volt was created, a lot of the traits that Lux had, ended up going to Volt.

this annoyed Lux to no end at first. Eddie was their dad, not this random imposter, who was taking their place as Eddie's most important object.

Parker wasn't always so obsessed with his dice determining relationships.

He always used them, but back in the day, it was more of a joke.

See, some of Parker's games are some old games from your families' place. Passed down from your parents.

Back in the old place, Parker would roll the dice as a joke. It was something that he could laugh about, while it was their conduct during the games that dictated your relationship.

With friends, rolling a hate or love would be something to giggle over, etc.

One day, he rolled a hate with someone he wanted to be friends with. But, well, it wasn't anything serious.

They were friends, and slowly developed a romance, until one day he was betrayed by them.

They hurt him awfully, and Parker decided that the dice were trying to warn him all along.

So now he's hyper vigilant in keeping his dice relationships.

Very few objects know this lore. Like Teddy and Daisuke, who were there when it happened.

Parker is not the biggest stoner in the house. he might seem like he is, but he's actually not that much of a stoner all things considered. He's just like that.

No matter what ending you roll, he's down for sex. FWB is always fun, and Hate Sex is a game to him.

Also, insanely oblivious to emotions without his die. He could be married with five kids, but if you didn't roll the dice, you don't have any relationship as far as he's concerned.

Parker has immense beef with the player's parents btw. As they canonically have mommy/daddy issues.

Mitchell Linn

He's noticed your eating habits are unhealthy.

It's kind of hard not to after all.

You just eat so much at once. You'll have so much food.

Of course, you generally rush to the bathroom after that, and that's all Mitchell knows about it.

He tries to bring it up a few times, when you get the DATEviators.

You always brush him off, but it isn't lost on him how your first instinct after he takes you "out" is to run to the bathroom.

He almost thinks it was better when you didn't have the DATEviators.

At least then you weren't lying to his face, claiming you were okay.

At least then he knew there was nothing he could do, instead of feeling hopeless to stop you.

Mitchell Linn

You've never kept the most food in your house.

Most of it was leftovers from a shitty fast food place or some type of carbohydrates.

Fruits were one thing Mitchell could never find, and sometimes he worried he would get a cavity from the amount of chips and sweets he was made of.

When your sister and her kids visited, you got the rare change in food. She always sent them with snacks. You always left the room when they ate them, though.

When you met Mitchell for the first time, you covered your nose and mouth when looking at him.

You didn't look like you disliked him, you talked to him enthusiastically. But you couldn't keep your eyes on him.

You never touched him either.

Well, no. You touched his leg, his hands, his hair. But you never touched his upper body. His jacket, it seemed, disgusted you.

When he invited you to the restaurant, he noticed that you would order something simple. You wouldn't look at his food, and you would barely touch your own.

You always had good things to say about them after the fact, but you seemed on edge about the food.

You got into a fight one day about it.

He thought, knew, it was unhealthy. Tried to get you to eat something outside your comfort zone.

You knew he cared, but it didn't matter because you tried.

You swallowed those foods for him, then ran to the bathroom and spent the next twenty minutes sobbing in Jean Loo's arms while vomiting it all up.

Trying to get rid of it all. the taste, the texture, the fucking stench clinging to your mouth.

It took you weeks to enter the kitchen wearing DATEviators after that.

You made up, but it took a while to explain.

After all, how do you explain to the concept of food that you can't eat certain foods, not because of your body, but because of a mental barrier you could never break (even when you wanted to).

Daisuke Dishware

(I couldn't find his normal intro screen, so it'll be the love screen ig)

Daisuke knew.

Of course, he knew, he'd been with you since you were a child and cried because your mom put the applesauce too close to the carrots, and now it was leaking over and your carrots were ruined.

Since you were a child, he did his best.

Making sure two foods didn't interact. Making sure you had enough separate dishware items to put the food in different spaces.

When you got the DATEviators, he wanted to brag so badly. He'd done his job wonderfully over the years, it wouldn't hurt to get some appreciation. (Even if he didn't need it necessarily)

I'm gonna be so honest, I have no clue how else Daisuke would play into this. I don't think Dishes have much to do with ARFID.

I just really like Daisuke and wanted to include him. :(

Friends and family love to bring you foods you can't eat.

It's too hard to explain why you can't eat them, since it's not like you're allergic or anything.

So you just hold the dish carefully and dump it into the trash can before putting the dish away as quickly as possible, to avoid touching anything even remotely holding the idea of residue.

Cam loved it.

He got a practically five-course meal anytime you invited someone over, or went out and came back with leftovers you didn't know how to refuse.

When you got the DATEviators, you had tried to apologize for forcing him to eat 'that god-awful food'.

You didn't quite believe him when he said he liked it (you already thought the people who ate watermelon were psychopaths, the texture is like hell on Earth).

But then again, he enjoyed trash, so it was basically the same thing in your mind.

Mitchell was pretty pissy about it.

Cam thought that made it funnier.

TBH, I never even started Cam's route, so here you go.

Luke Nukem

Luke was frequently visited in the kitchen.

You barely used the air fryer (it made the taste just slightly off, and you couldn't eat it)

And you always got anxious about burning yourself with Stefan.

So, Luke it was.

You entered the room, grabbed a bag of takeout from one of the few places that makes food exactly how you like, or one of your other five safe foods, and you'd put it in the microwave for one to five minutes.

Luke was very proud that he was your most trusted appliance.

And yes, he did shove it in Friar Errol's face. What gave it away?

The food has to be perfect, though.

God forbid it be even slightly too soft.

Especially once you know he's alive.

He's a pretty old model, though. None of that fancy shit. So he had to be very, very careful.

It's unnecessary, though. You're more understanding now, when your food is a bit too soft, or a flavor is wrong.

Now that you know everything is alive, you feel a bit more comfortable using the other appliances, since you feel more comfortable with them helping you.

So Luke is used less.

But he doesn't mind.
