Cori Bush literally wrote the ceasefire resolution in congress, and Bowman was one of the first to sign on. Losing their seats would be a tremendous blow to the pressure growing within congress to end the slaughter in Gaza, and a sign to the right wing of the Democratic Party that they should escalate their war on progressives.
