We already saw Piper and Leo’s reaction about Jason’s death. Of course, Nico and Thalia will be crushed by it. In fact, I am pretty sure that Nico sensed his death. Percy and Annabeth are sobbing at the end of  The Ship of the Dead and we have to wait until August 2019 to see the Roman’s reactions. The one who worries me the most is Reyna. Why ? (Rest in Elysium, Jason)

 It is likely probable (certain) that Camp Jupiter is badly damaged and there were many people who died. So, not only Reyna has to mourn Jason, her ex bestfriend and ex-crush, but also, her soldiers aka camarades. Knowning her, she will keep everything inside and wears her mask. It will be a throwback to the Hunters and Amazons’ death by Orion when she couldn’t do anything but run. Plus, Scipio’s death. Then, Reyna will be told by Apollo that she is in the new prophecie. + Her prophecie about no demigod shall heal your heart. Apollo comes in and it will be so complicated. 

Too much stress to handle even for Reyna. Pretty sure she will have a breakdown.

NO, but guys what if when Apollo/Lester and Meg arrive at Camp Jupiter with Jason’s body and when the news of Jason’s death is announced everyone’s like emotionally losing it

but Reyna keeps her brave face on throughout the next few days or whatever

22. things you said after it was over

“Let’s talk and have a proper reunion,” Reyna says to the Greeks, but knew that Jason caught her eye as she did.

On the way to the forum to eat with the Greeks that had just arrived in a warship - Argo II, the son of Hephaestus  had called it - she let Octavian and Percy lead the crowd’s way. Jason knew the cue. Reyna stood apart from everyone else and he joined her, with a greeting smile.

“Hey.”

“She’s beautiful,” Reyna offers, but not finding it in herself to look directly at him. “Don’t think that I don’t get it.”

She wanted to say more than that. To say more than praise the girl he was with just to show off how Definitely Okay she was with not having with him. Things just can’t be over without her saying anything more than half-meant niceties. She knew that. She knew that they deserved some kind of closure after everything.

But she also knew that things can’t be considered if nothing had began. Jason never loved her back - not in the way she thought he would. Not in the way she hoped he would

i honestly think jason and piper are cute, and that they do complement each other well, but i honestly can’t help having jeyna headcanons (??)

jason and reyna were romantically attracted to each other before they got separated

and hera and/or aphrodite just erased them completely from jason’s memory

jason was under aphrodite’s spell all along and didn’t really love piper. they were aphrodite’s idea of a “perfect” couple, so she manipulated his feelings so she would love her favored daughter.

in mark of athena, jason actually wanted to talk to reyna when he got back in new rome, but was too shy and/or scared to do it. he was scared that she’ll get mad at him for leaving her all alone to lead the camp, he was scared of what she’ll think of him getting a girlfriend… what if the real reason why he snubbed her was because he wanted to keep up with aphrodite’s “perfect” couple image, and didn’t want to disappoint her.

when jason regained his memories back, he also remembered he loves reyna.

he was just being piper’s boyfriend because he felt he was obligated to do so (with or without the two godesses’ influence).

hhhhhhhh i dunno really, i just can’t stop thinking about these “what if’s” i had throughout the series…

I saw this post and wanted to do one myself, so here’s what I came up with-

Percy- A black pegasus. Pegasus symbolizes strong emotions and passion, but also intelligence. Even though they are hard to restrain, once they’re loyal to someone, they’d be fiercely protective (sometimes overly so) of them, no matter what. Also, the color black refers to a part of someone’s personality that he prefers to keep hidden, which of course reminds me of his dark side.

Annabeth- A black mare. Symbolizes passion, determination and also a curious mind, an urge to know the unknown. Once again the color black points to a hidden part of personality. Most people know her to be smart, strong, even scary. The wise girl, who always knows what to do. She keeps her soft, vulnerable side hidden.

Jason- A stag. He’s confident and intelligent, someone who believes in himself. Most importantly, he’s a born leader.

Piper- A doe. Doe symbolizes a loving, caring, gentle nature, but also strong determination. Someone who’d protect her loved ones even in death.

Leo- A dragon. Because it refers to a person who’s unafraid of taking risks and who lives by his own rules. Also, because they breathe fire.

Hazel- A phoenix. I can’t imagine her to have anything but a phoenix. A bird that dies a glorious death and then rises to new life again. They are hard to tame, but once they choose someone, they’d remain by their side forever.

Frank- A scary looking dog that’s actually a cinnamon roll. A black mastiff, maybe?

Nico- His patronus used to be a crow, a bird that’s generally associated with death and bad luck. Even though cunning and unpredictable, they’re unbelievably loyal. It changed to a raven after he met Will though, maybe because ravens are believed to be Apollo’s birds?

Thalia- A griffin. Proud and dangerous beings that command respect, but also they defend their loved ones with everything they have.
