and i’m tired of you guys completely defending your stance and misrepresenting the reasoning behind people being against amber heard through logical fallacies, fake experts, selectivity, and remaining intransigent even with actual facts and evidence presented right in your face, like a true denialist. 

if you support amber heard you support someone:

who gives their alcoholic husband wine & xanax when theyre out of it

who has admitted to being physically violent & johnny not engaging

who mocks him for running away in fights

who abused MULTIPLE people.

who has lied multiple times, while under oath 

who’s had multiple people saying they witnessed her being violent and abusive

who has threatened people to lie under oath

has been abusive with her husband when he’s incoherent and not doing anything

would strike johnny whenever he’d try to avoid a fight

who would call their husband a coward for calling for help when she’d get physically violent

THE MONSTER ARGUMENT

I do that shit, too. I try to laugh and make others laugh when I'm upset because I fucking hate tension and crying. Until I can't speak anymore because I'm so close to breaking, I will make jokes and try to lighten the mood.

Also, sometimes when I'm sad, crying, even devastated, I stupidly smile or laugh and I'm not sure why. I'd hate it if somebody saw me and admonished me for doing something I literally cannot control and told me that I was being cold

Friendly reminder that abuse has no gender. anyone can be a victim of abuse. Anyone can be an abuser.

Parts of Amber Heard’s statement were literally quotes from a movie. She’s a pathological liar.

Feel like this isn’t talked about enough, because if the genders were reversed and a man were caught on tape admitting to starting physical fights and mocking a woman for walking away, I bet we wouldn’t have had these “tHe ABuSe WaS mUTuAL” arguments like we do now, since society as a whole — especially media — seems to have a difficult time accepting the fact women are capable of violence the same way men are, and that male victims are just as valid as female victims.

Johnny had a part of his finger chopped off because she threw a bottle at him. He had to hide in the bathroom when she got physical. And she got mad at him because he hid from her in the bathroom. His abuser literally said to him “tell the world, Johnny, tell them ‘I, Johnny Depp, a man, I’m a victim too of domestic violence’ and see how many people believe or side with you” and yet we still have these ‘mutual abuse’ arguments going on simply because he sent inappropriate texts about her to his friend, after she’d been physically/verbally/mentally abusing him, and because he’d had drug problems, and because he’s a man.
