// To everyone that has followed Derp Gumi throughout the years...thanks so much! I’m really sorry for being inactive all this time and especially for disappearing without saying a word. I’m really not sure how much of you guys still remember this silly ol’ mustache Gumi but I’ve been polishing up my old (tumblr) artblog and I think it’d only be fair if I give her a little update.

So a lot of you probably want to know if Derp Gumi’s blog will be continuing or not. It’s really tough for me to say but it’s also really difficult for me to say if I want to end it all. I really want to keep it going! I guess I want to say that I’m still on this really big hiatus? It’s unclear whether or not I’ll come back, truthfully it’s been such a long time since I’ve done the whole answering-questions-thing and it’d be really hard to adjust getting back into the swing of everything. Derp Gumi isn’t gone though and I still love her very, very much.

I ended up drawing this tiny picture of of her back in April this year and it made me think of all the fun memories I had on this site. It sounds incredibly sappy...but it made me tear up a whole lot. 2013-2016 (?) were simpler times and I made so many good friends and moments here that got me through such a hard time in my life. I may still lurk on this account from time to time (maybe I’ll even post more current fanart/sketches/unfinished WIPS if people are interested?) but in the meantime, I’d like to let you all know that I’m still active as an artist! I’ve promoted my art account before but if any of you followers are curious about my current works and whereabouts after all these years, I’ve been on twitter and other sites as, “DARUMAAKU”!
