EVENT SUMMARY:
Following a series of mass hallucinatory episodes which resulted in extreme violence, the Bureau dispatched agents to the town of ██████ ███, ME for further investigation into claims of the supernatural.
EVENT RESPONSE:
Initial interviews conducted by agents all reported various sightings of a mysterious figure clad entirely in black. Witnesses listed a variety of names: the Ageless Stranger, the Walkin’ Dude, R.F. and Walter O’Dim, but all descriptions seemed to point to a single person, as opposed to a group of similarly-dressed individuals. When pressed for further information such as height, age or weight, Mr Obadiah ████, the town sheriff, proceeded to attempt to tear his eyes out and devour them. He succeeded with his right eye, but was subdued by Bureau agents before he could do so with his left. Miss Serenity ███, a local high school student, said she conversed with the figure (whom she called the Dweller in Darkness) in a mild, well-educated manner, before returning home and stabbing both her parents to death.
Bureau agents decided to investigate further, and were given directions by the locals to the old unused corn fields outside of town. Their bodies were found days later once the Bureau received no word back, and they had apparently been killed, and partially devoured, by wild animals (speculation: wolves). Agent ████’s body camera still retained footage.
