Dark hugged him back tighter “I’ve okay, but I unfortunately have to relocate soon. That’s not why I’m here though.” He loosened his hug and looked at Axl with his smirk that was known too well.

Axl quirked an eyebrow, looking at Dark with a curious look. “What do you mean? Come on don’t leave me hanging like this.” He chuckled lightly, rubbing Dark’s back lightly.

Dark giggled and his smirk grew bigger “I don’t know, I don’t think you really want this bad enough” he said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice as he held up a gift in front of him.

Axl blushed faintly and held out his hands, taking the gift, “Really? Aww Dark~” He smiled and moved to kiss Dark’s cheek, “This is really sweet.” Axl chuckled and looked at the gift in his hands, “So what is it?” he asked, starting to open it.

“Well” he said scratching the back of his head “it’s just a small charm I made when I was just messing around in the undernet.” Inside the box was a small metal charm with a red stone in the middle “Do you like it?”

Axl looked at the charm with an astonished look, “Wow Dark, it’s amazing!” He exclaimed, hugging Dark and nuzzling his cheek softly, “You’re the best, you know that.” He grinned, kissing his cheek and chuckling softly.

“I’m glad you liked it” he smiled and hugged Axl tightly “so what have you been up to lately”

“Y'know, just a few drills, some practice with the chameleon ability.” He grinned, putting his hands behind his head.

“Really when did you get that ability?” Dark tilted his head to the side in confusion

“Not too long ago actually.” He grinned, “It is both a camouflage and confusion tactic because I can change my appearence, but keep my ablities.”

"Well that's a very useful skill to have" he smiled and then remembered something "oh yeah axl I forgot to tell you the charm also doubles as a communicator just in case you need to talk to me."

“Huh?” Axl turned his head, looking at Dark with a sigh, “I got into a bit of a fight with my operator…”

“Really? Want to talk about it?” Dark said as he moved in front of axl

“Well… For starters, we pretty much shot some things to each other that we never meant to… So I take half the blame.” He started and sighed, “Next thing I know is that I’m jacked into the net and am being told to leave.”

“How did you two even get mad at each other to begin with? I mean you wouldn’t just start yelling at one another for no reason.”

“It was a failed mission again… We are what one might call, ‘a special case’… We are given the most simple of tasks, and one small slip of some kind and we are put at the bottom of the list…”

“Well that’s no reason to get mad about. So what you failed that’s just one more reason for you to try harder, and if I know you, you don’t give that easy.” Dark then kissed axl’s cheek

“Yeah… I guess you’re right.” He couldn’t help but smile at the other, blushing faintly, “You know, out of all the people I know, you are the one who is the quickest to get me smiling again.”

“Well I would hope so considering we’re together.” He chuckled and looked straight into axl’s eyes “if I didn’t make you smile it would make me feel like I failed at our relationship”

“Well you’ve never failed on us, so there is no possible way to fail, not in this Navi’s book at least.” Axl laughed lightly, eventually smirking and touching their noses together, making a small ‘boop’ noise as he did. “And I always try to make you smile too~”

“Yeah and in the strangest ways too.“he said kissing the other’s nose “but that’s just the way you are and I wouldn’t want you to be anyone but you”

“Yeah. I may be a dork, but I’m your dork, and you’re stuck with me.” He chuckled and moved to kiss Dark’s forehead.

“And to be honest I wouldn’t want it any other way"he smiled as axl kissed his forehead “now let’s try and talk to that netop of yours”

“Could umm… We go in a little while? At least until Shane cools off somewhat.” He suggested, gulping nervously.

“Sure if that’s what you want.” He smiled and kissed his nose again. “Just let me know when”

“Alright, thanks Dark…” Axl couldn’t help but hug the other close, nuzzling his cheek lightly.

Dark smiled "you know I would do anything for you."

“Huh?” Axl turned his head, looking at Dark with a sigh, “I got into a bit of a fight with my operator…”
