April is just around the corner, and I didn’t even see it coming! Are you guys ready to start this up again? 

It was a cold day outside, with snow lightly falling to the ground. Chipper at his perch looking outside wagging his tell ever now and then out of excitement. His brother Chiamaka on the other hand raced back and forth around the house waited for Moon to let them out to play in the snow. Moon walked to the door she froze hand out almost opening the door layed unmoving.

I felt a pull at my chest, one I knew very well. My soul was calling out to something. As I was thinking of what it could be Chipper landed on my shoulder nuzzling into my cheek in concern. I’m good Chipper. Let’s go outside, okay? I say rubbing his skull. I open the door so Chipper and Chiamaka can go put. As they played I walk around the yard to see a water tub was moved and upside down. Walking closer I could hear little taps coming from it. Slowly I grabbed the tub move it away to see what wass under it. That when a saw an orange and brown lamia. He looked to be a chain. Looks like I find what was calling out to my soul, but who put him under there? Picking him up with little response scares me. I quickly call for the young skeleton to come inside. Once inside I plugged in a heating pad and put it on low so I could slowly heat him back up.

While he payed on the heating pad Chipper and Chiamaka walk up to him. They curled themselves around the cold chain. While they fell asleep Moon was looking for help. She know how to take care of Chipper and Chiamaka if they were to cold but nothing about a lamia. She find a bitty-bones pet shop who’s owner was Vex. She trys to get in contact with Vex hoping they could help.

*The muffled sound of a phone ringing can be heard in the Lamia Bittybones Adoption Center. Poff the skelepupper carefully fishes the phone out from under a dozing Honey without waking him and hands it to Vex. On the other end of the line, you explain the recent events to Vex and ask for her advice. She smiles knowingly when you describe the pull in your chest. She can hear the worried voices of your other bitties or miniatures in the background. It seems that they are already fond of the Chain as well.

* “The best thing you can do is to keep the Chain close to your SOUL. The formation of the SOUL bond will strengthen his magic and provide comfort and healing. The heating pad will help him as well. If his magic is very low, he won’t be able to maintain a healthy body temperature. Lastly, being around bitties or miniatures will provide a healing magical aura for him. It seems to me that you are doing everything right so far. It will just take some time for him to recover.”

* “He may also need some food. In his weakened state he may have some trouble eating solid meat or other foods, so if you have some warm broth that you could give him, that would be easier for him to process. We also have some special healing milks available at the shop. You can always stop by if you need supplies or if you’d like me to examine him.”

( Here it is colored. Chipper is can lay cross my shoulders. While Chiamaka goes a little pass my knees.)

The plan for the 17th, when the adult content ban comes in, is to protest.

To do that, we are making as much noise either side of the 17th as possible, and using the site as normal.

On the 17th, dead silence.

People are saying log off but what they really mean is don’t open the site or the app.

But, on the 17th make as much noise as possible on every other platform. Tweet about it and post on facebook and instagram and everywhere else.

What this does is causes a massive dip in ad revenue for one single day. That does not make staff think ‘oh everyone’s gone let’s shut down.’ What it actually makes them think is ‘oh shit people aren’t happy and if people don’t keep using our site we’re out of money and out of jobs.’

A boycott reminds a company that the users (consumers) have the power to make their site (business) worthless with one single coordinated decision.

If you want to join in, here’s what to do:

Do:

Close all open instances of the app and site on all your devices before the 17th

Make posts before and after the 17th on tumblr and other platforms, talking about why this ban is bad

Make posts on other sites during the 17th. Flood the official tumblr staff twitter and facebook with your anger and your opinion

Come back on the 18th and check in

Don’t:

Delete the app from your phone (this doesn’t affect their revenue and since it’s off the store at the moment it’ll be hard to get back)

Delete your account. I mean you can if you want to, but if you keep your account and don’t use it you’re saying to staff that there’s still time to save it. If you delete it’s hard work to come back.

Open the app or website (including specific blogs)

Make any posts (turn down/off your queue and make sure nothing is scheduled)

Go quiet elsewhere. Make it clear that this is just about tumblr, not a mass move away from all social media.

Remember: the execs don’t care about anything but money. Shutting down the site means there’s $0 further income from it. That’s their last possible course of action. If we make it clear we’re not happy, they’ll have to do something or we can do more and more until it becomes too expensive.

To celebrate, I’m going to share some of my favorite fics that I’ve read recently and hopefully, you guys can give them some love and appreciation too! Fanfiction writers work hard to publish their content, and deserve to feel like all their effort is worth it. I wish that I could rec all the brilliant authors in this fandom, but unfortunately my fanfic reading has been kinda slacking this year haha. Every piece of fanfiction in this fandom is truly amazing, but these are the most memorable to me. 

Maid by the Sea (Papby)by @sesurescue ​

The thing that struck the most with me about this fic, is the pure, tooth-rotting fluff between Grillby and Papyrus. As someone who absolutely adores cultural differences and misunderstandings, Maid by the Sea  really made me squeal and splash water everywhere as I read this in my bathtub. It felt like the perfect fic to read in there lol.  Papby isn’t a ship that I follow too often, but I absolutely loved this piece of work. 

Greed (KH Swapfellcest) by @0netype

Wooo okay first off, let me start out by praising this author for being the hero of the Purple Swapfell fandom. With the whole drama about Swapfell names and Purple Swapfell being lesser known (though it’s definitely on the rise), it’s hard to find a fic that has me feeling so many conflicting emotions as this one. KH Swapfellcest is hard to find, but this fic had me biting my nails over Papyrus’s sexual tension, but also tremendous pity for his position. I don’t want to spoil so I won’t reveal much, but seeing him take on clients and the effects of it makes me want to hold him and protect him from the world. I have no idea how I feel about Sans yet, but I am deeply intrigued by the nature of their relationship and how it will develop. Because this fic is ongoing, I am excited to read more! 

Puppy’s Pet (PuppyMoney) by @dragonfics

I’m going to admit I’m a bit biased with this one because I’m the one who requested it. Still that just gives me all the more reason to express my love. What I loved most about Puppy’s Pet is how good and pure Slim is! There are many different kinds of characterizations for him, but what always makes my heart melt are the ones that are so loving and caring, without being too overbearing. To be honest, I never fully understood the emotional impact for collaring, until I read this. I’ve always seen a collar as a tool to pull and showcase submissiveness, but this fic has opened my eyes and shined a whole new light on it. It’s intriguing and so sweet, that I had to put my phone down and bury my face in my pillow several times before I could move on.  

Shine and Rust (PuppBerry) by @megalotrash

Another Swapfell fic that I can’t even think of words to express how much I loved this. I already have a weak spot for Swapfell, but PUPPYBERRY? Yes, gosh, fuck me up. What I liked about this was that it didn’t just focus on Rust (sf pap) and Lapis (us sans), but how their brothers felt about it too. I was angry with Stix (us pap) throughout the first chapter and I cannot express the triumph I felt during the confession. Not to mention, my surprise at Crim’s (sf sans) reaction as well. I completely misjudged him, and I’m so glad that I was wrong. I’m really happy with how this fic ended unexpectedly, and in my opinion, it’s so much cuter and sweeter that it ended the way it did. 

My Breast Bro (Classic Fontcest) by @snuggleskull 

Okay this is an older fic, but my dudes, I have a weakness for lactation kinks, you don’t understand. The author executed this perfectly, combined with the sweetness and glow of new parents. I died when Sans took care of his brother, in ways that he needed caring. He was responsive to what Papyrus needed and I could feel the genuine love that they had for each other. The smut is also the cherry on top. 

Lessons in Compliments (SpicyHoney) by @saturnwonder

Another slightly older fic, but the one word in the tags that got my attention? Boobs. Well specifically “boob fuck” but still. I’m a big bisexual so when I saw this fic combined two of my favorite things - boobs and spicyhoney- I had to immediately jump on it, and I’m so glad I did. I adored Stretch in this fic, and how assertive he was. Even though Edge was topping, Stretch definitely in charge of the situation, and that’s rare to find with this pairing. 

Tug of War (Kedgeup) by @mercy-run

Ah yes. Tug of War. The fic that kept me up all night. I remember when I finished, I was tossing and turning, still reeling over the emotional rollercoaster that I just couldn’t get off of. Kedgeup was my first ever fontcest ship, and to actually read written content of it, made me so darn happy. I loved how protective Edge was of Sans, and how he only wanted to help. The fluff brought me to the clouds, and the angst broke me. This fic will always stay dear to my heart. 

Retry (Red Swapfellcest) by @deck-of-dragons

*Deep inhale*

Yes, out of all the amazing works by Deck, *cough*, my personal favorite being Swapfell Sans Suffers *cough* I chose to put the vore unbirth on this list. Don’t get me wrong, I judge no one for their kinks, but vore as well as unbirth were never in my area, and they’re still not. But as I read this fic, I couldn’t look away. I was pulled in, wanting to know more and more, and I loved every second of it. The writer wrote this in a way that peaked my curiosity, and when it was over, I was left more satisfied than I could ever imagine.

In conclusion, I really love Swapfell.
