And the first thing I want to say is that I am so fucking GLAD I managed my expectations wrt Devil's Minion this season. I knew there would be next to nothing romantic with them this season, and, well, I was right.

Also, they left Daniel's fate in a cliffhanger, which I was totally afraid they would do. 😑 Because Raglan and Alex were on that bus after delivering Lestat's head, but Daniel -- from whom they took the head -- was nowhere to be seen. Even though with that snarl, Daniel was clearly about to stop Raglan from trying to do so.

Which was right after Raglan spoke to Daniel about souls first.

And Armand told Louis that he was around/there for the seance he and Lestat had Merrick do for Claudia.

And Lestat, during his death/dream sequence, mentioned "Silver Tendrils," which was a clear illusion to The Silver Cord.

That all said, I do think Armand was running off to go to Daniel at the end. I just don't think he made it there before... well, as said, Raglan and Alex were both there and fine on that bus at the end, having delivered Lestat's head. And Daniel is no slouch when it comes to fighting, as we saw in EP301, and was clearly about to try and stop them from doing so.

So whatever happened that had Raglan and Alex still walking away fine with Lestat's head.... 🤷🏾‍♀️

Like I said -- souls, Merrick, "Silver Tendrils." We'll just have to see if the show is doing, and setting up, what I think it is...

And look, Armand's overall plan? Makes no damn sense wrt it all being about Louis and getting Louis to apologize and admit his failure with their relationship. Why the hell target Lestat's band members, why kill Larry, to try and get a Louis!?

Everything Armand did had nothing to do with stopping The Great Conversion. He just wanted Louis to apologise and admit to his side of the failure of them together.

I'm sorry, but this all would have made a lot more damn sense if Lestat had been the one Armand had been targeting for such a discussion between them. Louis had nothing to do with and barely had any interactions with Lestat's band.

As an Armand fan, I'm just like, "WTF?"

I swear, to me this just feels like a rewrite done for... IDK what the reason. Because they wanted to reveal that Armand set everything up wrt Regina and Louis? Is that it? Because like -- weak? Who cares?

That said, I thought Assad's acting during the whole episode was phenomenal. And Louis telling Armand he was worthy of someone loving him for all of who he was? Yes, that was nice, too.

And yes, until proven otherwise, I am assuming Armand ran off to find Daniel after that.

I just don't think he's going to find Daniel, well... well, when he does.

Or with a body, given what Raglan said in that final scene Daniel had about heads, bodies, and souls.

The final shot of the episode was breathtaking, as was the fact that Lestat did so when he was looking out over it all.

Anyway, I'll talk more in-depth about the episode later, I guess. But I really just wanted to speak on this at least, since people are already chatting about the episode anyway.
