Humanity, Guardian, Urge, Love, Monster all from Darcy c:
Humanity (this one made me chuckle): The word is foreign to Remy. He understands it, sees it in others but he has never felt it himself. Years of killing, this obsession of blood that he was born with, only made it more apparent to him that some people were just born monsters. Guardian: He isn’t sure how he got into this situation, he was a serial killer for crying out loud. Yet every night he gets the chance to tuck those girls into bed and tell them stories about a boy who had dreams of traveling the world, battling monsters and saving his family, he feels a sense of pride through him, making him want to protect them from anything that came their way. As far as he was concerned nothing was going to touch those three girls. Ever. Urge: He was born with it. This…this urge inside of him. It had always been there and it wasn’t until he took his first life that he realized, from his older brother’s face, that it wasn’t right. The urge is still there, only intensified now that he is an immortal being, and it can only be silenced by the spilling of blood.Love: Never in his life had he felt what some people call love, yet when Remy was first hugged by those two little girls, he felt it inside of him. It was weird that someone could actually possibly love him and this idea baffled him daily. It confused him even more when he finally fell for their aunt as well. Monster: The day he first took a life, was also the first time he saw himself through someone else’s eyes. As a monster. It was also the day that he realized any hope for him and humanity was nonexistent. If his older brother saw him as such, then he really was that. A monster.
