Dapper and Femme

I am not a huge science fiction fan so I was surprised to find myself enjoying Orphan Black. I particularly loved the character and story line of Cosima. Throughout the first season she rocked a number of butch and dapper femme looks. In this post I will recreate the cold weather look seen below. 

A signature part of Cosima's look is her glasses. I love these Warby Parker glasses for creating a similar look. 

The jacket she wore is a red, high collared detailed pea coat. I chose this jacket because it is high collared, structured, dark red and has nice feminine detailing. You can find it here.

Cosima often carries bags that are masculine or that have been designed for those who identify as masculine. Most of the time she uses a medium to large bag carried over the shoulder. This cognac bag is plain, medium and over the shoulder making it the perfect bag for the on the go dapper femme who wants to embrace the style of Cosima. 

I love Hannah Hart and I love combining masculine and feminine pieces. Here is the dapper femme look that I have put together to create the Hannah Hart outfit below.

I like the combination of skinny jeans and a vest for a more feminine look so I opted to go with skinny jeans for the pants in this look. You can find these dark wash super skinny jeans here.
