I'm sick and tired of people acting like I'm nothing but my breasts because you know I am an actually person. I hate it when I post a picture online and someone comments boobs if my chest is in the shot even if I'm not wearing a low cut shirt. Yes I get that I have large breasts but I am more than that. I hate how people will blatantly state at my chest if my shirt is even the tiniest bit low cut. I hate being judged for wearing low cut shirts when I where them because they don't squeeze and hurt my breasts like other shirts can. I hate having people I don't even know trying to touch my breasts. I hate people asking me if they're real. I hate people saying that they won't believe they're real unless they can feel them for themselves. I hate the back pain that comes with big breasts. I hate being called a slut just because I have large breasts even though I'm a virgin. I hate all the leers and comments I get on a daily bases. The thing I hate the most though is having to smile and act like none of these are a big deal because they're "normal" in today's society.
Bullying
I've just read that Chelsee Healey has had breast reduction surgery because she was bullied for having big breasts! Nobody should be bullied on their appearence and nobody should be forced into having any surgery. If you've been given big breasts, have reduction surgery if YOU want it and not because of others, have breast reduction surgery if YOU are suffering from having large breasts (back problems and other related health problems). Having any type of operation is dangerous and shouldn't be taken lightly. If you've got small breasts equally don't be bullied into having breast enhancements. Only have them if YOU want it and not because of anyone else. Plastic surgery for purely cosmetic reasons is in my opinion a dangerous habbit to start, people want to look like models on magazine covers, well newsflash not even the models on the front covers look like that, its all photoshop. Whether you are overweight or underweight the only times you should do something about it is either if your doctor advises you or you want to change and not because of bullying. Tall, short, fat, thin, ableboddied or disabled we are all different, accept who you are, who cares what religion you are or what the colour of your skin is, don't judge others just accept people for who they are.
The Dapper Femme Identity and Fatness
I identify as a fat dapper femme. This is a complicated identity because the fatness of my body precludes me from dressing my body in some of the ways that I would otherwise. To challenge this, I try to dress in the way that best represents me with the resources and clothing that are available to me. This sometimes means being creative and creating my own clothing. It also means searching for clothes at lesser known shoppes and online retailers. Currently my wardrobe consists primarily of tees, tanks, hoodies, cardigans, skinny jeans and faux leather jackets. I want to expand it to include more vests, button downs and structured pieces. This I have found particularly difficult but not impossible. because of my ample breast size. Do any of you have any tips on wearing clothing with more structure with lots of cleavage?
