I am still thinking about the new Kane and Feels and how absolutely stunning the voice acting is like??? How were they able to switch accents/speech patterns like that. fucking magic. Also hearing Kane try to mimic Bruce's voice even though he's. already using Bruce's literal voice. but b/c of his own intonation he sounds completely different so he pitches down and tries to copy the accent but it's still all wrong and idk just actors playing a character who's actually a different character is always stunning to me like how do you do that

I think in a clown AU (bear with me) Lucifer Kane would be an Auguste clown and Brutus Feels a Whiteface. This may seem counter-intuitive - surely Kane is the more "leader"ish of the two and would be giving the instructions? - but I'm telling you now that man is a born performer he would kill it at slapstick and visual jokes then all the while you have Feels on stage acting (comparitively) more normal until he suggests trying to shoot an egg out of Kane's hand with a gun

The way I see Kane and Feels' relationship is like. They're platonic, they're romantic, but the most important one of all is they're cosmically intertwined with one another regardless

My favourite thing about the D&D movie is it never stops trying to be a D&D movie even down to the most minute, unsung details. There's initiative order gags (I'll go last!) there's rolling a 1 gags (setting off the trap on the bridge by inexplicably just walking up to it) there's stat gags (nobody had high enough Intelligence to be in danger from the Intellect Devourers). Almost every spell is identifiable, from Xenk using smite to Sofina whipping out Finger of Death. Simon's character arc is about his self-confidence being tied to his mastery of magic because Charisma is the spellcasting stat for sorcerers. The era of movies based on games being afraid of their source material is over.
