dude the relationship between melissa and aaron. melissa basically raising aaron because derek and rachel didnt parent them. melissa constantly feeling the burden of a responsibility that shouldn’t have been hers. melissa feeling guilty when aaron got hurt because she should have been there to protect him. melissa feeling like a failure when aaron’s own actions hurt him. melissa being forced to grow up too fast to protect her little brother against something she had no power over. melissa trying to protect aaron against something much bigger than the both of them. melissa trying to protect aaron from his own fate.

WAIT ALSO I would like to add on to this I feel like Derek lowkey neglected her a bit BECAUSE of the fact that she was unable to bare the Ultima gene. Despite being the first child, working with her parents company, and going into the same career path as them; literally all they ever focused on was Aaron due to the curse that was passed down to him through something neither of them had any control over.

(Not actually sure if that’s a confirmed thing but I’m very sure that it was something Aaron’s grandfather went through too, so the series kid of points to it being genetically based on the gender of the Ultima children.)

I lowkey hate Love~Love Paradise as a season, and I’m quite sad to say it but it just gives me a headache. I will almost always skip over that season anytime I rewatch mystreet.

The episode plots kind of give me a headache, they actually REVERSE the character development on many characters, and its main purpose was just to establish Aphmau and Aaron’s love for each other? But we already know they love each other like they didn’t need to take a whole season to get them to say I Love You.

lol this is hilarious when you think abt it because you can literally see WHEN in the script they decided to write Dante out of the plot in the episodes that set up S4.

Dante was literally about to go on the road with them, then went home to get his laptop, and then we legit never see him again till they all come back. No comment, no cut-away gag to him waiting for them at home. Nothing.

insane how the 1st episode of Aphmau's year completely outsold the entirety of season 5

The pain. The emotions. The RAWNESS of it all.

Everyone repressing their trauma because "she had it worse". Gar and Zane being truly brothers for the first time. THE FUCKING BANDANA. Nana's extreme emotional intelligence being used outside of a joke. Zane's PTSD around what happened- what he had to see his best friend suffer through- what he suffered through. Him actually being vulnerable enough to not push away Nana when she comforts him.

The memories a house can hold. The feelings it echoes. The bittersweet agony of being surrounded by the intense love of someone who isn't there.

MCD Dante would give Mys Dante the biggest dad lecture of all time. Berate his whole personality and make sure Mys Dante is more respectful of women. (I am so sorry for what happened to you Dante you deserved better than Mys)

MCD Vylad would probably be a bit aprehensive at first. Cause Mys Vylad is very chill and happy while MCD Vylad very much isn't half the time. I think they could get along once MCD Vylad adjusts to Mys Vylad and his enthusiasm.

Mcd Laurance... this one might be kinda tricky? Cause it depends on where in the timeline we are with Laur. If its before he becomes a Shadow Knight, I could see these two getting along swimmingly. After he becomes a Shadow Knight? I could see directly after still being a little okay but honestly, the further in canon we get to s3, I couldn't see them really getting along. Mostly because MCD Laurance has gone through so much trauma he becomes difficult to hang around. At least that's what I saw.
