my mother is dying. no two ways to go about it. I'm disabled and have various mental health issues, and live in her home. when she's gone, we'll have to leave: I'll be going with my brother in law and sister. we have no idea what's going to happen to us or our cats. personally, I'm very scared.

I'm unemployed, and anyone that lives in the USA knows the job market is a fucking mess. I haven't been able to get a job in years. my sister and brother in law exist right now off social security due to both being retired; and again, we know SS is never much. that being said, even with comms, I've been living day to day with very little money, being supported by my mom and brother in law.

so I need serious help, even if y'all can't donate anything. if you have any outlet at all, please share this and help me gather some money at least to help when we inevitably have to move. anything at all, anything you can do, is so appreciated.

we had a physical copy of an older will that left everything to me, but my sister (the executor) never showed the lawyers this will, bc now it's going into probate bc there is no "physical copy". that being said, everything is still very up in the air for me—we haven't found an apartment, haven't solidified anything, and now I don't know if I'll even be able to live another month here before my brother in law, sister, and I are in the street.

so I still don't know what's happening and I'm still very worried. if everyone could just spread this GoFundMe around for me, I'd appreciate it so much. if anyone has any advice or anything that can help me, please contact me. if you've ever bought something from me, or appreciate my work, please help me spread this. we're very scared right now, we're being edged out by the rest of my family, and will probably get nothing. so I really do need some kind of help.

character/member/muse page with featuring a flickity carousel and navigation. i’ve tried to make this as responsive as possible, so the images are not set height/widths. try use HD photos - they’ll position themselves automatically. this thing can be a bit difficult and confusing to customise, so please only use if you have a fair idea how to edit a custom page - there is some notes in the code but it assumes a basic understanding.

Thought I'd make a list of some useful websites for those of us who enjoy roleplaying and what have you here on Tumblr and whatnot.

roleplay formatter: Made by the awesome @rpclefairy. I honestly can't recommend this one enough. Great for adding color, changing the font size, and the whole shebang with bold + italics + underline + strikethrough. 10/10 always use

fsymbols + emojipedia: These are both great for making your tags fancy and whatnot.

alt codes: This is genuinely great for teaching you how to make the symbols with your keyboard for everyday use so there's that. It's especially useful if you and/or your muses speak a second language so that's a bonus.

text color fader: *marge vc* I just think gradient effects on text is neat. *end marge vc*

list of colors (wikipedia): Has a list of an infinite number of colors and their hex codes. Very useful if I do say so, myself. But that's just me.

screencapped.net: Great for getting all sorts of screenshots for making icons, GFXs, promos, and whatnot.

fancaps.net: Also great for getting all sort of screencaps for making icons, GFXs, promos, and whatnot. My only complaint is that it's a little annoying to navigate so here's the proper links to movies, tv shows, and anime.

photopea: Great if you can't afford Photoshop and/or don't like using GIMP.

hakuneko: It's not so much a website as much as it is a program. You can download manga, comics, webtoons, doujinshi, etc. for making your icons, GFXs, promos, and whatnot. It's also just a great way to read stuff and catch up on everything.

Instead of posting them individually, I thought I’d post a bunch of my more recent resources that are free to be used! The codes and the rules for their usage are hosted on A Thousand Fireflies, and they are as follows:

- The Search [ music playlist, scrolling ]: It packs a bit of jQuery, but is designed to play the music in post via direct links instead of redirecting you to a third-party webpage (ex.Youtube). The song title will update according to whatever is playing. Note: The buttons on the left-hand side are purely aesthetic.

- Let Me Go [dark, scrolling]: Free-form tabbed shipper.

- Misty Mountains [thread light and dark] : Simple scrolling post template.

- Rule of Three [dark, tabbed, scrolling]: Tabbed jquery mini-profile coded for a challenge.

Use javascript to create a mobile menu button and wrap the menu items in a submenu. Use javascript to toggle the "open" CSS class on the submenu.

Use CSS to force the ucp tables into a single column, and define how the submenu opens.

This implementation is barebones, but is hopefully helpful to finessing your own.
