I paused my game to make this

- “bigger gun, bigger boom”

- that little helmet flip thing he does before heading out for arcjet systems

- how completely cool he is should you take down the institute with the minutemen and not the brotherhood

- getting history facts spewed at you a mile a minute

- the implication that his power armor has rusted before due to rain 

- the fact that he always speaks as if he swallowed a god damn thesaurus

- getting a [Danse loved that] if you successfully convince him of his worth during blind betrayal

- getting it again when you convince maxson to spare his life

- the implication that if danse knew he was a synth, he would have told you

- when passing through a small town similar to sanctuary, he says, “can you imagine how nice it would have been to live in a place like this? oh… never mind”

- says he “berated you” even though his break up conversation is literally the most amicable out of all of the companions

- “i’m so tough on you” even though he was nothing but fair and reasonable to the sole survivor

- how wistful he is for things like fishing, bowling, live concerts, and movies

- “if a machine and a human can learn to live in harmony, then anything’s possible”

- “i’ve never had anyone who actually cared how i felt, so i have a difficult time opening up”

- he names his gun “righteous authority”, what a fucking nerd

- he also personally modifies his own guns

- the implication that he reads historical records the brotherhood has on hand in his free time

- the implication that he feeds quinlan’s cat on the prydwen

- how he starts off every single personal conversation by asking if he can say something “off the record”

- how he always beats around the bush instead of actually talking about his problems

- that little scar he has over his right eyebrow

- i have only heard him laugh once in all of my play throughs and it’s when you joke with him by saying “well there goes my dream of being reborn as a super mutant”

- how he blames his poor interpersonal skills solely on that fact that he’s a synth even though that clearly isn’t the case

- the implication that the sole survivor is the first person who has ever expressed romantic interest in him

- how flustered he gets when the sole survivor flirts with him

- how he disagrees with maxson on having squires aboard a war ship

- “your arm looks like swiss cheese”

- when you heal dogmeat he says, “glad you’re healing him up… he’s a member of our team”

- how impressed he is with how quick you can drink a beer

- how he sides with the robots on the u.s.s constitution over the, and i quote, “hooligans”

- “push a button… push everything! improvise soldier!”

- the fact that he likes country music

- the fact that he listens to the charles river trio and is almost offended when he says, “what? you’re not the only one with a radio, you know”
