I love iZombie but it really is disappointing that we’re in season 4 and they still haven’t gotten their act together when it comes to black female characters. Renegade was especially awful because she is one of the first black female characters this show has actually invested some time into and developed beyond being a caricature and then we get to watch her be brutally executed via guillotine so her work can be taken up by our white female lead, Liv. I know it’s the cw but can iZombie just…do better already?
