Vampires Never Die: An Autopsy of Vampire Symbolism Sunday, August 2nd @ 6:15 PM PT / 9:15 PM ET

Rawr rawr cringe is dead, and thus I bring you easily my ugliest graphic ever. The gist is this: Dashcon has been reincarnated as Dashcon 2, which now returns again as Dashcon 2 (2026), and I am paneling there (again). I am doing a virtual panel for @dashcon-two about vampire symbolism. It's all so fitting!

This panel is for everyone—those who like to create art and those who like to critique it, those who are into queer monsters and those who roll their eyes at Tumblr's favorite tropes, those who do Dracula Daily yearly and those who hate everything about the concept. I really think, regardless of whether you know exactly why you love vampires or can't begin to wrap your head around the point of telling a story with them, you have something to gain from my slideshow of bloodsuckers.

After a lot of requests, I tried to match the Clip Studio Paint brush as closely as I could, but due to the two programs having different ways of handling brushes they are not completely identical!

I'm sure it's totally fine and normal and great that the taxi spies on you and will just deliver you directly to the police :)

This definitely can't be something that would be used in an abusive or arbitrary way :)

There are blogs with stolen or ai generated profile pictures that are now scraping artist’s comic pieces and re uploading them with malicious links instead of the next or previous buttons! I have also seen them just make parts of the caption on the original post hyperlinks.

All these links seem to lead to the same blogspot account with posts of nude women.
