For one of my briefs, I had to make a comic in which each page could be read as a separate story. We were shown examples of oubapo comics as a way to give us some inspiration.

An oubapo comic is one in which there is some sort of restriction. Some oubapo comics will have unconventional panelling, some will read the same back to front, and others will have the same image in every panel.

For this brief, I had to choose something to adapt, but I also had to improve on something in particular. I chose to adapt a scene from the play 'Bugsy Malone', and to improve on drawing women.

The scene I decided to to adapt was the one in which the character Dandy Dan has one of his gang members killed. I decided to make him and his gang all female, and as luck would have it, I found a script online in which the gang had been changed to an all female one. For some reason though, the person who wrote the script didn't change many of the pronouns from "him" to "her", so I rewrote it and corrected the mistakes.

This was for a brief in which we had to focus more so on the text. We were given a selection of several monologues to adapt into a comic. I chose to adapt Jules Winnfield's Ezekiel 25:17 monologue from the end of Pulp Fiction.

For a group project, we had to make either an anthology, an exhibition or a workshop. My group decided to make an anthology. Our anthology is a series of four short comics that are adaptations of one of Shakespeare's plays. To make the adaptations more interesting, we each chose a different play, as well as a different theme.

This is for one of my assignments in which we had to draw a comic about a conversation we’d overheard. Instead, I decided to use a conversation that I had with two of my friends while we were playing GTA Online.

Here we talk about our favourite YouTuber, Kwebbelkop. I was going to draw the three of us how we look in real life, but instead, I decided to draw us as our GTA Online characters. And yes, I am the girl.
