Who else is counting down the days until schools open fully? Both my daughters are coping well. They have their routine and do what they can. Last few days, I have taken my oldest out for a walk with me. Today they both joined me. Up, brushed teeth, dressed, breakfast and out of the house to walk a hill for no reason; mum is going. We got rained on and then back, ready for their online classes to commence. We are all missing our friends and family. Overnight porridge with Greek yoghurt and cherry berry mix. I love that my daughters have approved of overnight oats because I know that they are getting a healthy breakfast which is a low fuss and delicious. ¾ cup of oats. Milk or (as above) coconut milk, to cover the oats. One tablespoon of Greek yoghurt. A handful of frozen or fresh fruit. I am feeling grateful for being involved with CYCA because I have met some fantastic people. One being Gwilym @gwilymcounsellor, today we completed a counselling skills course through zoom. It has improved my outlook and helped those near to me. Either with the way, I communicate with them or just being able to listen.
