Daniel

Heyyyyaaa.... yeaaa about that ^0^” My “short hiatus” really turned into a full stop since life happened in between for me: I got diagnosed, moved to my own place, got a hobby/job and now I applied to a school as well! Health has taken full priority for me, and the pace that I was drawing Daniel in caused a reeeally unhealthy working habit for me.  I’m still super keen on writing stories and dream of drawing comics once more, though. I’m writing a completely new condensed story that I hope to manage to kick off one day to get back into the groove of things, but as for Daniel, I’ve put it on an indefinite hiatus for now, I’m sorry :( ‘Daniel’ is still near and dear to my heart, and that’s why I don’t want to just blot a half-assed ending down “just to get it over with”, and that’s also why I’ve decided to just let it be for now. But thank you thank you THANK YOU to anyone who’s been here following a random story from a teenager who was lost in life and didn’t know what else to pour her emotions to. I know this is a really shitty way to just “stop” a story so many of you were in to, but to be honest, I ran outta juice! Now I’m slowly recharging and hopefully figuring out a more sustainable workflow. Life’s hard, man.

The only character sheets I've made were the ones in the beginning when the character designs were still up in the air (and those are damned hellbeasts which shall stay sealed in a vault), so I finally decided to set a reference point for later on! My style and skill has changed vastly along the years -there's a noticable difference even within a single chapter omg- but who knows where we'll be in a year? Better have a proper reference point to look back on!  I'll probably end up making one for every character when they're introduced, so I'll be adding more when the time comes! (and I manage to finish them.)

Oh man, after long consideration I've finally decided to implement Daniel's new look! I feel like this is a more noticable color palette and matches the pale nordic skin much nicer, so I hope you're all on board with the new style! High key he's cute as feck with this hair tho. 👀
