p12: they are not that big into pet names, they usually only call each other by their real names which is actually a big deal and very intimate because neither of them like other people knowing their real names. When p2 gets home from work he likes doing the whole “honey im home” thing and occasionally calls p1 dear.

p13: p3 loves calling p1 all the cheesy shit like sweetheart, sweet thing, baby, honey, doll etc. especially during sex and it always flusters p1. p1 does not use pet names for p3. when he wants his attention he usually just goes “HEY” really loud

p23: pet names to them are calling each other asshole, shithead, fuckface, etc. and throwing shit at each other. during sex if p3 is topping and he wants to humiliate p2 he’ll call him princess or baby doll or sweetheart and it pisses p2 off mainly because of how much it turns him on.

p14: p4 uses all the normal stuff like honey and dear but he also likes to call p1 angel because he’s heard p1 refer to himself as that (angel of death) and he thinks it’s cute and wants to turn it into a positive thing for p1.

p24: they don’t call each other anything they usually just start talking and the other knows theyre speaking to them

p3m: they call each other dude and bro while absolutely ravaging each other

Oliver’s heart was pounding as he and Moira were waiting in the patient room for the doctor to come. Ordinarily this would be the sort of thing he would let Moira do on her own. Although he and Moira did a lot together, he knew she could attend her own appointments. At the very least he might have simply gone to get some coffee while she had her visit, be waiting for her with it once she was done. 

This wasn’t an ordinary appointment, however. 

Moira was getting her IUD out and it felt far more heavy and important than any other doctor’s visit she might have. Well, he supposed that might change soon, but until this point, it stood as such. 

Oliver knew that a baby might take some time. After all, the timing had to be right. Oliver knew she had to be at the right moment in her cycle. And there were lots of other factors that had to line up. There was a reason that, despite hundreds of millions of sperm, only one often reached the egg. But, none of that mattered because what did matter is that they’d be able to start trying for a baby, the baby that Oliver had wanted ever since he’d met Moira. The baby he was more sure than ever he couldn’t wait to make with her, to become a father to her child. 

Oliver held onto her hand, squeezing it. “How are you feeling?” he asked her, as he looked around the office, anything to help calm the adrenaline that coursed through him. Though despite feeling so amped up, he looked as calm and cool as ever on the outside. It was how Oliver had always carried himself.
